It was a Point of Sale item. The store staff had already opened all the packs that they came in and threw them out and just had the flags out on the counter by their figure. I spotted this one sticking out of a box behind the counter and asked what it was and they let me have it.

They don't have anymore complete ones.

With a delay this be on Watch Dogs there must have been a huge issue. It would have been ready in a month and sent to go gold, so like Bioshock Infinite and TLOU it was something fairly big they wanted to fix/change.

Funny thing is it is not good in just this instance... delays are almost always good as it is always better to give devs more time to make a game better. The only people who would disagree are over entitled consumers who always want things "NOW!".

Nice stuff Lowly... sorry to hear about the Royal Mail strike.

Yep its a canvas print
There are 3 designs
One like the standard game case art with one tomahawk in the air about to strike
One a bit like the Alex Ross steel book but the colours are not as vibrant and the flag is facing the other way
And this one of Washington crossing the Delaware (my favourite) the other 2 are no longer available but I may be able to get hold of a couple of each

I think you are correct, there was something very wrong
But not with watch_dogs, more like there was something very wrong with ac4bf and that game could not be delayed, so they pooled all the watch_dogz guys onto ac to get at least on game out this holiday season
My personal opinion is of course wrong as always

Actually that is a smart possibility. But it is the same with that game, if there was a big issue they would have had to push it back... bringing in more people can't really fix big issues fast (just too hectic). Although it could have been a polish issue only which bringing in more people could solve... so it is a possibility.

You also have to take into account this move was big to their stock holders (these are the real people the video game companies are trying to please... not us, to be fair pleasing us translates to more money which means pleasing the real people they want to please. Know that if they had to chose between us and them it would be them plain and simple), it was a big let down as Ubi had upped their profit prediction for this quarter due to planning for WD to be bigger then the first AC.
