not to mentioned they were numbered with the number printed directly on the crate, which was pretty bad-ass... and who can complain about a CE who's profits went to charity.
Yeah, forgot to write that the numbering, and charity kind of makes it better but still, they could just made it little bit different.

Thanks thats what I meant.

its still cool edition, but I'd still prefer the ubiworkshop one, even the australian is probably better

I didn't realize that...

even still It's 1000x better than a typical cardboard packaging. and the fact that they modified the crate with some additional print instead just using it as is adds something to it IMO.

Did anyone figure out which off-the-shelf container they used? I'd like to buy one if that really is the case. (no pun intended )

Resistance FoM PK stands out to me. I'm also going to support U3 EE.

In no particular order:

Dead Space Ultra Limited Edition: Super rare, super sexy.

Uncharted 2 Fortune Hunter Edition: Rare, oversize, and signed! Beautiful.

Borderlands2 Ultimate Loot Chest Edition: The chest, while not the best quality, looks great on a shelf in the game room.

Bioshock 1 CE: The quality of the Big Daddy figure is impeccable; none of that cheap PVC that virtually all other CE figurines are made of.

Kingdoms of Amalur Reckoning Signature Edition: Lotta bang for your buck. Rock solid polystone statue, and it's signed!

Assassin's Creed III UbiWorkshop Edition: One word: Classy.

Fallout 3 Survival Edition: Great packaging, and a pip boy to boot!

Dead Space 3 Dev Team Edition: Great big tin, posters, art book, and a quality statue. What more could you want? Oh right, the game...lol

Witcher 2 Dark Edition: A package that is presented beautifully. The presentation case is particularly nice.

Mirror's Edge Runner's Bag bundle: So rare, so very, very rare.

These may not be the 'best' but they're my favorties

In no particular order

Ones I own
Dead space 3 Dev edition - My personal favourite CE
Defiance Ultimate edition - ?62 at launch, can't argue with that for the amount of goodies you get
Bioshock infinite ultimate song bird edition
Assassins Creed 4 Black Chest edition
Dark Souls Limited edition - Had to nominate this one for the art book, I really like it.
James Cameron's Avatar Limited Collector's edition - Was the first CE I bought and I'm a massive fan of the movie so a little biased towards this one.
Borderlands Ultimate Loot Chest edition

Ones I want
Sonic Generations Collectors edition
Halo Reach legendary edition
Dead Space Dev limited edition

my top ten, no particular order

AKB 1/149 Renai Sousenkyo Ultra Luxury Limited Box

a game about dating, it not being localized does not matter, when trying to convince a woman do you ever really win?

comes packed with masses of seedy content. all round win

dead island riptide rigor mortis edition

of all the dead island editions this wins for me, bobbled head of a scantily clad, dead woman, covers a lot of fetish bases (not for me,i just think its funny it dances when i kick the table)

key - who knows what it might open,i like to imagine it opens something, maybe master key to oreo factory

bottle opener you cannot go wrong with, and its a zombie arm socool

finally paddington bear sized suitcase, did he ever make it out alive? who knows, but such a cute little suitcase

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition

some will not even list call of duty,i consider this the time they finally made a smart move for the fans

namely season pass bundled in for the fans, i think any second tier edition of a game should do this

you pay extra so why not actually reward this with longevity in gameplay

cool little founder card, you are in an exclusive club of amillion, but watch the women swoon when you pull this card out at the night club

steelbook nice to be included

and finally my favorite

diary, i find art books lazy, i like the effort they put into the diary little photos etc, and the stressed effect, makes it much more connected to the game,, rather than another item in a box

another three tomorrow will be updating this list over the coming days
