They sent ne a return label... Got picked up by DPD and that's the last I heard. Honestly this edition should have been amazing - a real pleasure to open... But put together so so badly the top tray needs retainers to hold the items in place - elasticated straps would not look out of place done in the right way... And the trays needed to be substantial with a thick plush velvet lining not some crappy thin plastic with a layer of red bum fluff...

The first time I open my DA:I CE it's really a mess inside, but luckily, nothing's broken... The statues were all over the steelbook and I was shocked that there was no scratch or dent on it.

Hope GameStop will get yours sorted out soon Mags

Actually want more of them for ones that break and get scratched... lol. I asked the person who I got that from for more as those did not come with a jewel case so I assume they have extras.

I watched a couple unboxings and it seems this is very common sadly. The vids I saw had no damage though so they got lucky. Sorry to hears yours got messed up.

Darn sorry to hear yours as the same way. A lot of them seem to have this issue... just not internally designed well to keep things in place.

Yeah it's a nice CE when everything is not in a heap. Lol I feared the worst after hearing the other horror stories and seeing the state of some other people's editions! >.< Thankfully I didn't have to see it in a state! ^^ As I said in another thread I quite like this CE.

The mug is awesome! ^^ I had help with getting that. Lol treated myself and my GF to one each! ^^ She was really pleased with her's too. ^^ Was a nice surprise. I also bought her the Limited Art Book from Bioware store. It came on Saturday and I'm kicking myself for not ordering one for myself too!!! >.< We do have the Inquisitors guide book on order though. £63 each from Amazon, so am looking forward to those getting here.

Lol I had to try and make it look nice after all the bad press it has received from disgruntled collector's receiving damaged editions! >.<

My GF had a slight issue with her's. She was missing one of the lock picks from her set, but GameStop offered her a £20 refund, so she was fine with it. XD She said if she was that arsed she could make the missing piece. Lol Thankfully no breakages again though! ^^

I hope your replacement arrives with no issues. Would suck to have another damaged one. I reckon they're prob getting all the damaged ones back and trying to make good CEs from the damages before they send them out again. One thing I wish the CE had was a Piece of Perspex across the top layer to hold the stuff in. Would have looked very presentable then when opened even if things did still shift slightly. Also, with regards to the badge, with a little bit of effort, but whilst being gentle ofcourse, the badge will hold itself in place, if you push it right back into your space there are little notches in the plastic toward the back of the spot where it lives where it will fit nice and snug into. ^^ Just incase you or anybody else hadn't noticed.

Anyway, thanks for the kind words. There are loads of nice stuff posted in this thread by lots of members, I'm just glad I can contribute! ^^

Woah! Just got my Initiate Guide in the mail - this is one of the best packaging jobs I've seen from amazon in quite awhile -- I'm pretty sure it was just sent directly from Prima, as it looks great! They did a great job with the Zelda guides too, so they get two thumbs up!

Anyway, here's the packaging... I'll post some pics of the guide when I actually get to open it up!

Received my copy of Halo: MCC Limited Edition from GAME today. How disappointing a packing just they did! It was basically just a bubblewrap envelope that offered NO protection to crushing forces. The box is pretty beat up. Thanks, GAME.










Is it worth contacting them since it was overseas shipping?
