Did you read the quote you quoted? Yeah, it was definitely done by Prima - and so was the Zelda Boxset (as I mentioned), both came very well packaged so PRIMA get's two thumbs up, not Amazon. At least your amazon sent the Prima box in another box, mine just sent it as it was with the label and descripton of what it is on the box and everything.

YAY! Looking forward to this coming. Fingers crossed it won't be long before mine shows up. Amazon haven't charged me yet though... Also do you have any comparison pics for size? It looks like it's gonna be massive! >.<

They pack it like that because they're morons!! >.< We get the same treatment sometimes in the UK. Their customer services have had a right moaning at from me about it before. I've told them that it is inadequate packaging for limited edition games, but they still do it. International customers get it worse as GAME always skimps in packaging for international customers to keep the shipping cost down. I personally advise anybody who wants to order internationally from GAME to ask a UK member to forward for you instead and save yourself the headache.

While we're on the subject of shitty pack jobs, I wasn't best pleased with how treehouse stores packaged my Dragon Age art book, so they have an email incoming too...

Had I known they would do such a shit job packaging up the item for overseas shipment, I would've done your suggestion. I am hoping they will just send me a new one without me having to bother sending this back. Does that happen with GAME?

As for Treehouse Stores, their packing is usually pretty good, but when it fails, it fails hard and the item is usually really damaged. However, I've found them to always be excellent in replacing the damaged item for free (and letting you keep the damaged item, too!).

I still haven't found better packaging for shipment than when I received my Legend of Zelda collector's edition guide box set. That was some sturdy cardboard and padding they used!

Yes... GAME's packaging is pretty bad, most of the time. Bought a few times from them, and ha nightmares too. Like what you said, it is better to have a UK member to forward it to you.

Whereas for TreeHouse... I too sent an email to them about my Dragon Age Art Book. To TreeHouse's defense, typically they do a good job in packaging. But this time the way that they pack the Dragon Age LE art book fails hard.

I received mine in a box, so i thought great job. Then i noticed on one side of the box was torn up. What TreeHouse did was placing this huge heavy book, into a box that is too small to fit the book....

Its funny you ask that, my first picture was going to be a comparison shot since this thing is HUUUUUGE! It's easily 30% bigger than the Witcher 2 Dark Edition (I use that because its the same shape/color). It's not "Batman Arkham Origins CE (US)"-big but its definitely the size of a large CE.

Unfortunately even after posting that I was going to take some shots of it, I fell asleep with the box (and my camera) sitting next to me while I was working on something else... if noone else does, I guess you'll have to wait til tonight, sorry

My Dragon Age limited artbook also arrived in a box that was busted. The box wasn't sturdy enough. The book itself was fine tho but it gave me a huge scare when I saw the condition of the box.

Same with mine. Except mine 2 corners of the book case were dented.

Nice pick up bud! Also, its crazy how much those DA:I books are listing for on Amazon. I'm sure people aren't buying them at that price (I hope) but it was like $300+ or something earlier today
