They are both SteelBook, with the engraving design on the back being slightly different for both.

Not that I have seen, it's just in the USA, they used the word "metalpack/case" and not SteelBook in marketing the CE.

So I was skeptical, and got me the EU one which was stated as SteelBook from the start.

Weirdly enough, it doesnt come up in any google search, not even the slightest reference to it.
Also, if you look at the back, the image is not properly centered... you sure this is official and not a fan made?
