Why do I feel like these will get Price Drops LIKE EVERY sony Collector's edition?

I remember buying killzone 3 collectors for 79.99 only to see it go for 39.99.

Then the inFAMOUS 2 one for 99.99 at 49.99 (which i thankfully returned).

Are any Sony CE's worth buying/preordering?

The problem isn't sony releases, it's US CE releases

CE's in the US almost always get crazy overproduced

Happened with all of the Halo Legendary editions

They made hundreds of thousands of those and had stock sitting idle just as much as with the Uncharted and infamous CE's

I will admit I'm concerned TLOU Pandemic is going to be over produced even with everything I've heard from what should be very reliable sources

I will preorder the Pandemic one soon.....but 159.99 for a steelbook and a little statue seems deadly overpriced...

A large amount of PAL Sony releases sell out. Eg Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, Infamous 2 and GOW Trilogy- I know some of these are now cheaper but the UK versions are more and if you consider how much the regular game has dropped them the 'extra' value hasn't.

You have to remember that it's a 12 inch statue with two figures on it.
