Bundled Editions

There is talk on another thread about game releases we have began to discuss the so called "bindle editions" this is where retailers bundle items together either in shrink wrap or just in the same shipping box in order to increase sales
And we where wondering and debating if these where legitimate Collectors items?
And if they should be entered in the database
And what should and should not be entered in the database
Feel free to discuss, name bundle editions with links or pictures and share your thoughts

I got an amazing deal at Walmart for Batman AA & AC - they happened to have the bundle of both the AC and the GOTY:AA bundled together for 39.99 if I recall - but I put it on lay-a-way til Black Friday and was able to pick it up for 19.99, since the SKU was just for the AC and they had advertised the cheaper price for AC in their black friday leaked ads.

Since the games were exactly the same as if I had purchased them separately with the exception of some shrink-wrap and a little walmart wrapper I would not consider these collect-worthy, in fact, I've since traded in them both to trade up for the CEs.

My usual thought process would go something like this:

It's a console limited edition as the console comes with the game, the game doesn't come with the console

Just my opinion of course

but then there is the Assaasin'S Creed III Ultra Limited edition where you pay 2500 EURO and get a 6 foot statue and a game, so you ccant really say you are paying 2500 EURO for the game as there is nothing special about that game disc / case its just a bundle but its in the database

Yeah, for consoles, they are Limited Edition consoles, not LE games.

Same goes for the statue, that's essentially just you paying for the statue and you get a copy of the game for free So even though it's been titled ULE, I wouldn't classify it as a CE xx

For me it has to be in one box, with the name of the edition on it.
