Project Phoenix - A game with some real potential

Hey everyone, I figured since they're not budgeting a ton for marketing right now, I'd do my part and drop an announcement on here for a Kickstarter project that looks like it has some real talent!

Also, seeing as how they've got some physical Collector's Edition items coming out I thought many of us might want to "invest".

For $120 you get the complete physical CE, for another $30 you also get the limited edition artbook. My personal favorite (and what I'm hoping to contribute if I can) is the $400 "Developer" grade version which comes signed (plus you get your name in the credits!).

Anyway, just wanted to mention it here and maybe drum up some more funds for this project:

This looks quite cool, right up my alley. Think the one at $150 looks best, CE of the game with the artbook.

I'm assuming they will but did anyone notice if it says anything about there being an English translation? It mentions the game being shipped from Japan and so I assume its Japanesse development so just wanted to be certain it would be in English to

I can't see why not. All of the devs in the video were speaking English.

Languages: Voiceover options include Japanese and English. Subtitle options include Japanese, English, and German.

Wow, they finished this over $1,000,000!! Sad they only stuck with a Sony and PC CE and no Xbox. Those developer kits might be worth some serious money!

Does look really promising though, and they ended up miles over target so hopefully it'll be a great game.

I really wanted to support this, but the staff on this project is kind of hit or miss for me. For example, I don't want to be rude but QA for a project doesn't seem as important relative to actually getting the developer for said project. QA can be anything, really. I primarily wanted Uematsu's score sheet/book that they were offering and I really liked the art style. Then, Mighty No. 9 came out and I had to choose the Mighty in the end.

Regardless, I really hope that this game does well.

Well, they ended up reaching over 1 million dollars for their initial crowd-funding campaign but it looks like they're re-opening a campaign for the rest/more of their funding.

They're also offering some limited edition statues etc. in their store. So if you wanted to support it but didn't yet (or if you tossed them a few $'s and wanted to upgrade your support level) now's your chance!

Wanted the statue, but didn't have the ~$900 or whatever it was for that level originally. Now it looks like I could just do the developer level and then buy the statue for $250 on their store (assuming I find that cash laying around somewhere).

Anyway, just thought I'd bump this thread with the "good" news.
