is this an actual CE or just the word "edition" tacked on to the PS3 release? I haven't been following C&C very closely...

I am not 100% sure that there is a non-Ultimate Edition for PS3. But, according to the 2nd link posted above, there is

a collection of limited and exclusive features

and

Although, the URL would lead me to believe this is the only option for PS3.

EDIT: According to Amazon, the PC version has a Standard and Premier Edition, but not PS3 or Xbox360

no worries... they do that with a lot of ports...

you have to figure that if they're releasing the game a while after it's initial PC debut and they're going to charge $20 more than the PC version they have to give you SOMETHING to justify charging full retail for an old game.

As far as I know it's the only version of the game available for the PS3. It's only called 'Ultimate Edition' because it features extras which aren't in the PC and X360 version
