CEs for last gen are winding down at last . . .your thoughts ??

I must admit I'm kind of relieved in a way. I'm not moving into current gen so the last dregs of last gen are it for me.

Although collecting CEs for PS3 and XBox 360 became a real passion I believe, looking back, that there were too many concentrated into a small period. You'd get a few months with very few and then . . . bang - the whole thing would go crazy for a coupla months.

Feeling the draft of the finances coupled with the appaling online service I experienced I can't say i will be too sorry when it all comes to an end.

I can now concentrate on picking up the expensive ones i missed which will probably keep me busy enough bearing in mind the scarcity and inflated price of a couple of 'em.

Not that it hasn't been fun but i really won't miss all the aggravation of piss-poor customer service and trying to predict which ones to buy and which ones to gamble on leaving for a while. My scarcity radar hasn't been working too well with regards to passing on dearer items.

Anybody else have any thoughts on last gen collecting ???

Well i picked up a ps4, and CE's will be ramping up. Not to forget press kit etc.

I think for this Gen, i will wait out for a lot of CE, because almost all drop in price.

I agree sometimes its hard to predict, and i often canceled the wrong ones.
