Nintedo employee reward lapel pins

I have these pins.. don't know much about them.
Would like to know their value or their history.

these look like to me the tiny label pins the Nintendo employee would be offered to attach to their nametag during there anniversary month of how long they have been with the company. this is just speculation from what I have seen at the companies I know people work for in the "entertainment" industry.
