Legend of "Zelda" (the Hero) Hardcover Book + Art Prints

Hey everyone. I know this isn't an "official" licensed piece, but it is really a stellar-looking piece and at a great price for what it is.

Some of you may remember the artist who produced the "Guide to Kanto" artbook for the Pokemon games, well she's just released the "Legend of the Hero" Compendium.

It's basically a "world history" book about many (all?) of the Zelda races/locations/characters put together with stunning Art. There's a special hardcover edition and also a set of 8 artist prints representing 8 different Zelda games.

As its not official, there are no officially copyrighted terms (i.e. "Zelda" "Triforce", etc. etc.) in it, but it looks like she gets pretty close and still captures the world well.

Simply put, this is a stunning fan-created (albeit professionally done) work that really will be a nice gem in any Zelda-fan's collection. While I didn't get an exact figure on a run-size, it is definitely not "mass marketed" and so get it while you can.

I would love to own one of these ... unfortunately I'm not at home the whole December so I'm not sure if I should order one.

Cheers for posting Knight looks really interesting; I don't tend to go for fan made stuff but will give this a go.

Yeah, I don't usually go for fan made things either, but after seeng it and chatting with the creator I decided it was a must buy! Looks like a lot of work went into it for sure! I may be trying to put together an interview with her as well for a blog I sort of have a "role" in , I'll be sure to share the results if we work something out!

When a fan-made unofficial item like this is higher quality than most of the official junk out there, I'll happily add it to my collection. Lovingly crafted and affordable? Good work Kari Fry.

I'm sure she'd love it if you bought both, but if you're doing it because of the covers, I clarified with her and the picture I included in this post IS of the Hardcover edition, the green cover (on the HC edition) is a dust jacket that is identical to the paperback cover edition (but includes the inventory poster on the other side). So you get BOTH cover-arts on the HC edition technically!

Looks like one is Fangamer and the other is the artist's own shop hosted by Fangamer. Fangamer is an awesome company so you can't go wrong either way.
