Out 24th September. Published by SOEDESCO, the same people behind the Ether One steelbook that has been doing the rounds. Is this a new pattern, making some more money out of old PS+ games by selling them in collectible packaging? And if so, when can I buy Rocket League?

Another completely random title to be released as a physical edition, considering it was a PS+ "freebie" only a month or so ago. I really don't know what market the publisher is trying to target here... Maybe those who played the game for free via PS+ and want a physical copy to look at?

Does the game even contain a disc? Or is it just a SteelBook package with a download code card inside? If the latter, then I do have to ask: why bother?

I finally received one of these. For anyone wondering, it's just a really boring steelbook. Only the skull and title are actually on the steelbook itself, the rest is a slipcase. No artwork inside either. Here's a picture (lighting in my house sucks so had to use flash, sorry).
