Help with shipping from the usa to the netherlands

Hi there everyone!
i would like some advice on a package a friend is sending me soon.
She has never shipped internationally before and would like to know what the cheapest/ safe shipping is.
the box is 8 inches high, 8 inches wide and 15 inches long.
any help or tips are very much appreciated !

Been a week since you posted this so hopefully you solved it already. In case you didn't though -- Depending on what it is, the shipping methods could differ. I usually end up just using USPS or UPS (depending on what's available where I am). For most contents she'll want to wrap everything several times to avoid the contents scraping/sliding/moving in the box. Another strategy that works well for more-fragile contents is double-boxing -- put a box inside another box with padding all around it. That keeps the inner box (and contents) safer from any outside crushing/stabbing damages (and also weather sometimes).
