Dishonored collector from USA
Greetings!
I'm a huge Dishonored fan. Have been since I got the first game, and it's one of the few games I actually go out of my way to collect things from. I do collect a little from my other favorites (Bioshock, Deus Ex, Mafia, Watch Dogs, Thief) but those games I only collect a few items. For Dishonored I have been essentially collecting anything I could get my hands on I've got most of the standard collectors items, but my "crown jewel" is the paintings... all professionally matted/framed, museum-glass, blah-blah blah (I have them hanging above my desk in my home office ) Only negative is the one I still do not have to complete the set I also have the 3 Delilah paintings from Dishonored 1, the 2 lithographs from Dishonored 1, and the 3 lithos from Dishonored 2. Not pictured... still in the tubes as I can't afford to frame everything at this point in time Seen a lot of good items on this forum so far, and while my wallet would disagree, I hope to find some more of what I have been looking for on here! |

Re: Dishonored collector from USA
Just a quick snap of some of the less important Dishonored collectibles:
Dishonored 1/2 art books, the overseas Dishonored 2 CE merch (I have the Dishonored 2 CE also) and some of the Dishonored 1 trinkets. Now all I need is the Dishonored 1 clock.... And a few other of the statues in the collection (I actually love the Panzerhund statue.... very well made |

Art prints, figures and artbooks, that's also what I mainly collect!
I like these framed artworks. What are they exactly? Lithographs? Or canvas?

They're giclees. They're similar to a lithograph, but they are higher quality and use archival grade ink and paper. The printing technique on these makes it look like you can see the actual individual brushstrokes on the image (and they damage and scratch as easily as a true painting would... I can see the nicks in 2 of them from my framer )

Re: Dishonored collector from USA
That Panzerhund statue looks badass. I'm currently on the hunt for a Panzerhund edition steelbook, but it looks like now I might have to do get the entire edition lol.

Re: Dishonored collector from USA
Too bad I wasn't on this forum last year, I could have helped with that. I got the whole CE when it went on clearance at the Bethesda store for $50 USD, so I got the chest, steelcase, and statue at once

Re: Dishonored collector from USA
Up close shot of the frames. Both the frame and the matting have sort of a swirled/antique look to it, looks pretty cool. One downside of the frames though is as sunlight hits the frame, it darkens over time (the picture is protected by the UV glass, but the frames unfortunately are not). The first one I had framed 3 years ago is considerably darker than the most recent one from this December.

Re: Dishonored collector from USA
Never did post it up, but thanks to a member on here I acquired the final Dishonored painting I was missing last year, and got it framed over the Christmas break:
Also picked a neat one-off from Ebay earlier this year. From what I could gather, it was some concept art that was framed and hanging up at Eidos Montreal itself. Never found anything on it other than that; the frame job it came with is from a known, quality framing shop in the Montreal area. If anyone has any additional info I'd be grateful. The frame job itself is perfectly done, other than the fact they didn't use museum glass on it (why the picture is sort of terrible... glare is very bad on it) |
