This has to be the perfect example of what's putting me off collector's editions lately.

£180 (IIRC) and aside from the steelbook amd outer box (which will take up loads of room) it's full of Loot Crate level garbage bits and bobs.

Properly hate this huge price hike over the past year or so.

That's not even talking about the game itself which will be the first CoD I can guarantee I will never ever buy thanks to them not having a campaign.

I wish they’d just go back to modern warfare games like “4” and leave well enough alone.

as much as many people have bias against the game series itself, veterans may remember that in the past, COD CEs had some unique and interesting elements.

for example, night vision googles, an actual flying drone, radio controlled RCXD, etc.

and they did hold some value and sold for a pretty penny on ebay back in the day too.

but then they got lazy with the past few titles, and now , here we are, with a giant zombie box.

I am one of the veterans . I have the NVG, drone and the radio controlled RCXD. That was the last few that I get since those after were all crap. Just small bundle of game + steelbook and now we get this "mystery box" which is fugly.

I only hope that the box itself won't be slightly larger then the SteelBook. As it actually doesn't have many content to justify the larger box. I somewhat doubt the box will be half empty.
