Default Hello from Newcastle

Alright folks. I've been meaning to sign up to the forum for a while now and finally got around to it.

I've been buying Collectors Editions since the 360 came out but I only really buy the games I want to play so they all end up getting opened. Collecting Star Wars memorabilia and comics was my main focus for many years but then I branched out into collecting limited edition games. The biggest problem for me now is finding places to keep everything.

I live in the north east of England and it isn't a bad place to pick up games with plenty of places to hunt around if you know what you are looking for.

I'll try and get some photos posted soon and take some time out from playing them.

Very nice site by the way.

Cheers folks. Aye the weather has been a bit mental. I like the snow to be honest, it's just people driving at four and a half miles per hour and the amount of time it takes to get anything in the post that spoils it.

I've been trying to upload some photos of my collection onto Photobucket and ImageShack but I keep getting damn errors. God only knows. Must be something to do with the format but as far as I can tell they are Jpeg's. I'll keep trying.

Thanks sir that seems to be working.

Here we go then. I haven't taken photos of everything just yet but I will get around to it. So there's still some guides and other CE's to add yet.

I didn't realise how rare the Art of Halo 3 book was until a few months ago. Picked it up for next to nothing at Game when I bought the Halo Wars guide.

WOW - Very nice Collection you have there.

Is the gun for Gears of War, do you keep that on display.

I noticed you have wrapped your Super Mario 25th edition, what size plastic wrap did you use and do you know where to get it from?

Thanks

Cheers man. Believe it or not I got the Lancer for nothing. Well sort of. My brother didn't want it anymore, don't know why, so he gave me it. I gave him a few games to keep him busy though. It sort of just lies on the bed in the spare room as I've ran out of space to display it. He binned the box as well.

The bags are just straight forward comic bags. I get them from Forbidden Planet for £5.99 for 100. They do the job. I keep all sorts in them. There's plenty places on the net that do them as well but the postage can be quite high because of the weight.

Thanks, I have the DVD wraps, but couldn't find ones for bigger collector's edition.

I will check them out tomorrow.
