Final Fantasy Dissidia 012 Limited Chaos & Cosmos PSP

As with other PSP exclusive Final Fantasy games, there is going to be a limited edition PSP console for Dissidia 012.

The console will be release with the normal version of the game on the 3rd of March, It looks like it will be a PSP-3000 unit and be coloured in silver with special art on the front and back.

Retails for $470 from Yes-Asia, but I'm sure it can be purchased cheaper from else where.

I think it looks better than the first Dissidia PSP. Very nice.

If I remember correct the first one was the 20th anniversary edition, it was also white unlike this one which is of course silver.

I do prefer the white one, also is was considerably cheaper than this one. This is going to be far more then the 3DS and the NGP. Crazy or what.

Yeah, the high prce-tag seems odd, unless these are super limited.

The 20th anniversary edition is white with silver glitter finish to it. Here are some of mine:




I also do prefer the artwork on the back of the PSP as opposed to on the front.

$470 is also pretty steep of a price for a PSP.... is this going to have a very limited production to warrant such a huge price?

Thanks lhurgoyf for the picture, Again the white just looks better. although the art work isn't quite as nice.

There is currently no indication of a super limited run, It could be the poor exchange rate.

I know the price increases if Square have limits on the number of console per number of copies of the game they take.

For example, the FF 13 limited console shot up by $100 because Square decided to increase the the console per game limit from 25 to 100 copies.

I can't wait to see the final package of the Final Fantasy Dissidia 012 Limited Chaos & Cosmos PSP. It'll probably come in a shoe box, I'm guessing.

It appears that this PSP comes pre-installed with a custom Duodecim 012 theme. Coolness.

The system is based off the Pearl White PSP-3000 unit, but features artwork for Chaos and Cosmos on the front, a Dissidia logo on the battery cover, and a matte black color for the rear ring and side frame. Boot up the system, and you'll find an original Duodecim custom theme preinstalled.

I love Amano's artwork, and it looks great to have it on full dislpay on the front of this PSP, rather than the back (where I would rarely even see it). Also, this Duodecim PSP has a nice black trim around the perimeter, making it even more attractive for me versus the white Dissidia PSP. Plus, it's silver!
