PC Buy Rift at Walmart, get an exclusive in-game pet

Trion Worlds announced today it plans to offer an exclusive boxed edition of Rift at Walmart, online and in stores.






Those who purchase a Standard Edition of Rift at any Walmart throughout the US or online will receive the exclusive, yet cutely slimy, Shambler Hatchling pet.

The Standard Edition of Rift is available for the suggested retail price of $49.99, and the Retail Collector’s Edition is available for $79.99.

Rift is scheduled to launch in North America on March 1, and the game’s open beta starts February 15.
