I got my Replica Scarborough Fair in yesterday... pictures have been added.

The Paint detail is pretty poor and there is no articulation on the trigger, but other than that it is a very nice model and has some good weight too it (I'm not sure what it is but it's solid and not plastic) the stand is made of metal.

Thanks for the pictures, does the box have an indication that it is an Australian exclusive release or region coding?

Looks great. It makes for one nice display item, that's for sure.

... you can see 100% of what's on the box in the pictures, the front and back are identical, as are the left and right. the only indication of Austrailia is the code above the barcode which says "BAY-GUN-AU"

I found one person claim that they received one of these with their pre-order of the Climax Edition from GAME, however Play.com also claims that they were the exclusive seller of the Climax Edition in the UK http://www.play.com/Games/PlayStatio...rlrefer=search

I should note that the ONLY official information that I could find from Sega relating to the gun is this one: http://www.sega.com/news/?n=3650

the release only states that the gun can be had at "select retailers" it does state that the press release only pertains to Australia.

-------------------
EDIT: If what I'm reading is correct it was offered as a Pre-Order bonus for the Standard Edition through GAME stores in the UK...

Yeah - GAME had the gun, which came with pre-orders of Bayonetta the standard game.
However the gun came in a plain white box and not the full coloured art.

Play.com had the Climax edition which was the Artbook and Soundtrack and the same as AUS version without the gun of course.

If you pre-order from HMV you got an exclusive DVD of ‘Manga’s Leading Ladies’ ,featuring full episodes, trailers and exclusive clips from Manga's series and films.

I had to fight to get my gun from game as they canceled my pre order for no reason, I reordered straight away and called customer services who said I was no longer eligible for it! A serious letter of complaint got me £10 pounds off my next purchase which was better than nothing....

Two weeks later my gun turned up in the post, great success!!

It was in a dull white box but I was just happy it arrived.

I'm pretty sure it is full size... or at least close to it.

The in-game ones are pretty huge, and this barely fits in my hand.
That said this makes a nice display on your shelf or table without eating space.
