If you want to see Portables added to the database please post up the information here, I'll compile it in this post and once we've got a good collection of data I'll add DS games to the database

I have a list here in my notepad somewhere of all the UK Nintendo DS LE's and CE's. I shall revisit this thread soon with this information (Keep reminding me if I forget!)

Ok, so i've found my list of UK PAL DS LE's and CE's

1. I would like to ask where we stand in regards to certain releases which come in unique packaging with peripherals, but which aren't available as standard editions?

These include:

Active Health With Carol Vorderman - (With Activity Meter pedometer)
Easy Piano - (With Slot 2 piano peripheral)
Pokémon HeartGold - (With PokéWalker pedometer)
Pokémon SoulSilver - (With PokéWalker pedometer)
Walk With Me - (With 2x Activity Meter pedometers)

Personally, I would liike to include them, as they are of significant interest to collectors, and may be spotted out in the wild without their respective packaging or peripherals (Eg, plenty of Pokémon HeartGold's & SoulSilver's on eBay without the PokéWalker)

2. Rhythm action games with Slot 2 peripherals

There are four games which I know of which come with and without the Slot 2 peripherals:

Band Hero
Guitar Hero On Tour
Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades
Guiter Hero On Tour: Modern Hits

3. Games which come with special pre-order tins.

Pokémon Platinum - Standard edition of the game with a special pre-order tin from HMV. Game and tin were sent separately due to a manufacturing cock-up, but the standard edition does fit inside the lined tin in its entirity

Zelda: Spirit Tracks - Standard edition of the game which is included within a larger tin along with two figurines. This was a GAME pre-order bonus, and the game comes shipped sealed inside the sealed tin

4. CE's exclusive to a specific retailer

Below are a few CE's and special bundles which were exclusive to a specific store or retailer here in the UK, but where standard editions exist

Ben 10 Alien Force: Vilgax Attacks (Tesco exclusive) - I believe this edition contains a Ben 10 watch

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 (Tesco exclusive*) - Unsure on contents, but I believe they are similar to the console CE's. *Notable as the only DS CE of this game, as ShopTo.net didn't bother with the DS release

Tinkerbell & The Lost Treasure (Argos exclusive) - Comes with a book

Wall-E (GAME exclusive) - Comes with exclusive lenticular cardboard slipcase

There are also three Toys R Us exclusive bundles which I can't seem to find my notes on - Perhaps Gurpswoo1 could help me out with these?

One is a Peppa Pig bundle, another is a Ben 10 bundle, and the third I can't remember (I believe we had a discussion about them over on SGH?)

5. Actual LE's & CE's!

Here are the rest of the actual LE's and CE's:

Bakugan: Battle Brawlers (Special Edition) - Comes with a Bakugan battle brawler

Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force (Collector's Edition) - Comes with console skin, stylus, and 2,500 in-game coins

James Cameron's Avatar: The Game (Limited Collector's Edition) - Includes exclusive Mattel Avatar collectible glow in the dark figure of Tsu'rey, and extra in-game weapons

Luminous Arc 2 (Collector's Edition) - Comes with soundtrack CD

Spectrobes (Collector's Edition) - I believe this comes with some code cards for use within the game, and a mini guide [Citation needed]

6. Forthcoming DS LE's & CE's

So far I am only aware of one forthcoming CE for the DS, and that's LEGO Ninjago (Collector's Edition), which comes with a free LEGO Ninjago mini-fig, and a bonus Dvd

7. Addendum

In addition to the above listed games, I would also like to include another item.

Club Nintendo recently had a promotion where if you registered all three Professor Layton games before a certain date, you could claim a free presentation case for all three games, thus forming an unofficial Professor Layton trilogy box set.

I think this is of significant interest to DS collectors, and deserves to be included somewhere in the database as they may appear rarely on eBay as a trilogy set

Off the top of my head, I know of certain DS CE's which exist for America:

Bakugan: Battle Brawlers - As PAL above, but I think the battle brawler is a different colour [Citation needed]

Bakugan: Defenders Of The Core - Comes with another Bakugan battle brawler

Beyblade Metal Fusion CE - Comes with a LE Beyblade. I have seen red, blue & green variations of the Beyblade included, which I believe to be retailer exclusives [Citation needed]

Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force (Collector's Edition) - I believe is the same as the PAL version above [Citation needed]

Littlest Pet Shop - I believe there is some kind of Littlest Pet Shop bundle for one of the LPS games, but i'm unsure which one or what it comes with [Citation needed]

Spectrobes (Collector's Edition) - I believe is the same as the PAL version, albeit differently packaged [Citation needed]

Zhu Zhu Pets - Comes with LE "Baxter" Zhu Zhu pet

I'm sorry, but I don't know too much about the American releases i'm afraid, but at least it's a start

Also worth adding to my initial list are the recently announced Transformers games, and the Ocarina Of Time 3DS GAME pre-order bonus edition

Are we including 3DS aswell?

The steel book just comes separately anyway for Cars 2 not quite the same as a optical disc game.

Forogt to mention that there is also a sonic colors limited Edition for the DS, I think it was a toys'r'us exclsuive. Will look up the info.

we should create a separate thread for 3DS games now that there are a few of them.

I will have DS and 3DS open to add games to the database later tonight.

Any chance of adding some of THESE?

If you need UPC info or anything like that, let me know which ones and I will check my collection and let you know the ones I have, although I am missing quite a few of those DS LE's and CE's
