Shiiping question

I know this is a bit off topic but i tried to ship a Gear of War lancer to the States but DHL classed it as dangerous and wont carry it through.

Has anyone shipped a lancer before and know of a company that will take them or is it a no no in general

My seller use parcel force (ship in USA by USPS) to ship item to me once
(A sword not a gun by the way)
No problem except got hold out in the custom for couple days or so.

why would they have problems shipping a "toy"
