The "Last Day" event was A huge world wide COG tag scavenger hunt leading up to the release of Gears of War 2. Some were hidden at the Epic booth at E3, some were mailed to public faces in the gaming industry (I think the IGN people got one not sure) anyway, the rest were hidden around the world. Each COG tag had a code that would unlock a part of the Last Day web site (I'm not sure if it is still up.) but it had footage and new information about Gears 2. It was a blast. I remember sitting there updating twitter waiting to catch any co-ordinates dropped for the DC area so I could go get one. I ended up getting stuck in DC on election night looking for one. There were only 1000 made.
