Default NES - Never Used Complete, Value?

Ok this might make some people a bit jealous but I not too recently I acquire a never used NES. This is the Canadian release, so the box and manual have french in it. The box is still Mint and the console never used, still reeks of new plastic. This is complete with everything it came with never used And I didn't even say the best part, I got this for free! Apparently it was "worthless" to them. So I was kind enough to take it off there burdened hands. So my question is? What am I really sitting on, the guy I got it off assure me it was never used, I wasn't charged so I can't imagine an incentive to lie.

I was told it was an xmas gift for his kid but his kid wasn't into gaming so it ended up in storage. Until one day it would fall into my hands. I didn't really question him all that much because I was busy drooling and stoke I was going to get it free. So what are thoughts of the community?

Probably a shitload, but if you don't want it, I'll take it (free of course ) haha, no, but aye, you'll no doubt get a lot if you sell it on.

Lucky git, I really need a boxed NES xx

I'll trade you my car there is a guy in my town that has a sealed original nes with rob the robot (the very first packaging on the nes).

He had it authenticated and is rumored to be the only one in existence... I would offer him my soul but he's a prick

Anyways nice grab mate you better cherrish it!

Also if you don't mind what's the serial number?

all NESs are NES-001

that's the MODEL number

the serial number is unique to the console.... on the NES it looks like this:

you've cut it off in your picture.

I would suspect you're not even close to a low number since the box advertises the power pad which wasn't released until 1988 which means it's at minimum 3 years past the NES's original release.

Still very rare to find an original box in such mint condition.

So based on your serial number it's about the 32 Millionth NES.... still pretty cool

I noticed a copyright date on the side of 1987 so I was pretty close on the date.
