Default Games for Steelbooks

Hi there

There has been a huge amount of steelbooks that have come as pre-order bonuses or simply by themselves.

Has anyone purchased the games for them, either sealed copies or open copies to put inside. I have usually purchased sealed standard games myself to go along side the steelbook.

But is that the right choice, when I can put a cheap used copy to put in the steelbook itself.

I think I might do this for older games because I can get used copies of the game really cheap.

It's just I have a few steelbooks now but don't like them without games, seems like they are missing something.

Personally i think i'd have to buy new, no matter what condition they in I dont think I could put a used game in a new steelbook for collecting purposes, i'd get better peace of mind with new

I was worried someone would say something like that.

I will just wait for the price of the sealed game to drop, the exception being these collection steelbook like the recent Call of duty collection.

I won't be buying those game sealed.

just put an empty disc inside to filled it up.

don't like to spend more just for the sake of filling in the collection steelbook.

I'm in the process of filling my empty steelbooks right now, I'm just hunting around ebay for 99p start auctions and hoping I can nab them all as cheap as possible, I mean, I'm not going to use the disc, but I'd rather the correct disc was in the case, and that I had the manual to go with it I'm not bothered if they're second hand, after all - we all buy editions off each other and off ebay, and unless they're still sealed, they're technically second hand too, yes? xx

LOL - not sure about that, many members only collect the steel books themselves.

I already have the games for some steelbooks, these are ones I play.

However for games I don't like or play, don't have the game. I don't like missing content, so feel it's missing something all the time.
