Assassin's Creed 3 Steelbook out now

I found several posts on other forums that best buy is giving these out now for like $5. An example below:

Hmm seems like this will be available in US/Canada from 5 March. I think gamestop and futureshop also have this. Looks like best buy opened their orders early. It's actually a $5 deposit for preordering the game and you get the steelbook. So yeah the steelbook costs $5.

Looks like I will be going to Best Buy tomorrow.

If I pre-order the game, and pay $5 for the steelbook then a month later cancel my pre-order I get to keep the steel right?

If so I will have a lot to sell in the next day or so......
