Dead Space 3 Why is it just add-on content

I just found something describing the limited edition of dead space 3 saying that the only difference between it and the original copy is add-on content, Why are they doing this i'm so disapointed I just became a fan of it too, and the worse of it is usually the limited edition add-on content will become available on xbox live a few weeks after the game is released, why are they doing this, why not include a marker statue, or a book about necromorphs of something, anythings better than this.

Dead Space 3 "Limited Edition" is a DLC edition. These are very common nowadays, so they shouldn't even be allowed to be called an edition tbh.

There might be a proper edition announced nearer the time, but we'll have to wait and see xx
