The Pre-Order Edition of Red Steel 2 did not include any special packaging, it was the regular edition game with bonus items wrapped together in plastic.

In addition to the regular edition game and case it included a 20-page art-book along with 4 bonus in-game weapons

  • Cord Industries Barracuda .357 AMP
  • Kuro No Ken (katina)
  • Nihonto Hana (the Blossom Sword)

Availability:
In the US this edition was only available through pre-order at Gamestop Stores.

    any idea if these are just pre-order bonuses, or if it actually comes in a CE box with the extra content... the site lists Gamestop as carrying it but gamestops website still doesn't have any info on this.

    I received it today. It's just the standard edition sealed, wrapped together with the sealed pre-order paper box (pictured above) that contains the bonus items. The bullet is in a small paper case, looks nice and weighs like a normal bullet. The artbook does not have hard cover.

    As the item is in storage I won't be getting to it for a while.

    I do know that they did the version without the Wii montion plus aswell.

    Finally got this out of storage yesterday, I can confirm that there is no text or anything for the matter on all four sides.
