What really bothers me with 1/4 alexio is the price. $750 for this is very steep. Prime 1 studio price range. And the ES of 1900 doesn't help, plus you don't get the game or anything with it.
At least 1000 CAD over here including shipping and taxes isn't that bad, buying a piece like that from Sideshow would cost a good 1300 CAD.

I just ordered it. Apparently, the 20% discount that you can get by trading 100 uplay points works on this particular pre-order. You can save $179 through there. Of course, tax is $95 and shipping is $15, so that discount is minimized. But final price was $830. Still expensive, but not super crazy for a 27 inch premium statue.

I don't even like this statue, but after missing out on the premium Bayek last year, I don't think my OCD could take another hit lol. Gonna be broke for the next month sigh.

My problem with that statue is that doesnt have any resemblance to Assassins Creed

Yeah, I have the same issue. Not even sure if I wanna clear up room and display this with the rest of my AC collection lol.

It sucks that they couldn't make the premium statue using Kassandra instead. She looks way more like an Assassin. Plus I don't think we've ever gotten a premium statue of a female character in the series yet.

I think you have to give the benefit of the doubt to the fact that you don't know the story yet. I saw this news that we all get a remastered copy of AC3 free with this game and that the deliverables include a December campaign known as "Legacy of the First Blade." (watch the video clip at the bottom.

So while this character does not have overt likeness to the assassins you have become used to over the years, perhaps this is the true link to the first assassin and true origin of the creed. I am really excited to see this "first blade" campaign and hopefully get satisfied about how it all started the way I had hoped to be while playing Origins. Don't get me wrong, Bayek is probably tied amongst my three favorite games right now but I really look forward to this one too and perhaps after playing you may look at your new expensive Alexios statue differently.
