Yeah, good question Madigan. I'm interested in the watch but just can't afford to break the bank anymore than I already have after buying the artbook and dev edition. If they were announced/released a few months apart from each other, I probably would have bought the watch as well.

Probably just trying to strike while the iron is hot. Right now Dead Space 3 is going to be at its peak in terms of overall interest; so it makes sense to release all of these goodies now, as opposed to later down the line. It's better for sales is what I'm trying to say.

You can pre order several CEs 2-6 months in advance, for example the post pandemic edition.

TreeHouse keeps releasing ME items and the interest is still there (the watch, the comic books, the reaper replica), of course you can't do the same with a CE.

My Dev-Edition arrived on Thursday and I've got to say the quality of the contents is outstanding! I really happy I picked this up!!!

In a way I got a crappy number but in a way I didn't... My edition number is 4529 but what's kind of cool is I just turned 29 on January 21st. So it sort of commemorates how old I was when I got it... I actually planned it to be a belated birthday gift to myself when I ordered it.

To me that's an odd coincidence and makes it kinda cool!

I wish you luck friend, I too was in the same position until early yesterday morning! There are heaps of them available on eBay for much more than the standard $100-$160 if your willing to go that far, if not this is by far the best place to keep upto date, I got my dev edition thanks to all the good people here, you'll find one. Treehouse_Ryan has kept us upto date on any cancelations, on page 47 Dark_Preacher quoted Ryans post letting us know 25 dev team add ons would be put back on the store and exactly what time, I set my alarm and was lucky enough to get one, but all 25 sold in under 15 minutes. Sadly this doesn't help you now, but this is still your best shot. Ryan did mention some of the 25 sold were double orders, and the only people in the world who knew ahead of time that they'd be up were members of this forum, we had exclusive access.

Your doing the right thing, this thread still gets a lot of activity so I'm confident you'll track one down. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful :(

that's EA Gear, this is where all 5000 were sold originally, if there are any further cancelations, this is where they'll go. Treehouse_Ryan is the awesome dude who's been looking after us thus far, I'm sure he'll update us again with any further developments.

By all means check the store as often as you like, but from my experience it'll be tough to be on at just the right 15 minute window if more become available. Last time Ryan let us know well ahead of time so we were prepared.

If anyone else has some helpful advice I'm sure Pixolator would appreciate it :)

Yea that's pretty much it. you well get a tracking number once your package has left customs but until then you can e-mail tree-house and get some extra info but they won't know to much. You just gotta wait sadly.

I know how you feel. I was order #2 in the system and it didn't ship until 31st or something (I just got it today around noon). Also the number on my tin is 0994. It really didn't mater when you order compared to when your order shipped to what tin you got. So random.

Exactly the reason why I didn't buy the Isaac Watch. I already got Dev Edition + Clamshell Artbook and will be getting the game soon. Can't really afford to go any further at the moment

FYI, I also got no info other than it was posted on the 28th, and I had to get that info from the website, didn't get an email. Haven't checked the tracking since to be honest, and for all I know it could have been delivered as I had it sent to my office but I've been working at another site this week so I wouldn't know if its arrived. Hopefully its on my desk when I get into work on Monday, otherwise I'd be worried lol.

I ordered 2 and received both of them today (actually yesterday but the postal worker delivered it straight to the post office near me). For reference, mine shipped on the 25th of January, but had to come across the border to Canada.

Both of them came in 1 huge box, labelled DS Collectors Edition or something, which is cool so i'll probably keep that box. Inside were 2 smaller boxes that were very well packed containing each of the tins. Sadly, I received very high numbers (off the top of my head I can't remember but both were 49XX, I think one was 4985. Oh well though, I was hoping for lower numbers but in the end the CE as a whole is what matters.

Still waiting on that artbook though, which is odd since it shipped the same day :(.

Got my Dead Space 3 Dev-Team Edition today along with the art book as well, can't complain as they look great and where packaged really well.

Still waiting for Dead Space 3 Dev-Team Edition number two to arrive as I order it a little late for my nephew. I e-mailed them about it and they provided me with a tracking number which tell me it's left for country's origin which means it's somewhere between US and OZ.

What's this special dead space artbook everyone is talking about? I think I want it!

The game was released today here in Oz, played about 2 hours of it and I'm impressed! I was worried that the franchise would go downhill thanks to EA's god hand forcing certain elements, like cheat codes available to buy on psn to make the game easy, EA calls them "microtransactions" for people who, ah... Um... For the kind of people who... Er...
nope, can't think what kind of dead spacer these "MT's" would appeal to? Dead spacers like it rough don't they?!!

Anyhow, game is great! Who cares about the "microtransactions", visceral has done a fantastic job and the future of the franchise looks to be in good hands with Dead Space 3!

But obviously this brings to light my inherent lack of dev team edition! Still waiting on ANY kind of update, the Only email I've gotten thus far was the very first email to say we have received your order and charged your bank account $140 or whatever it was, that was the 2nd of Feb, (I got one of the 25 that went up that day). I hope I hear something soon, shouldn't take that long now, surely sending out 25 should be much, much quicker than posting out the original 5000... How long after placing your order did people wait to get the next email advising the item has been posted?

I'd love number 0001, 0066 or 5000... Although there's many others I'd like, these stand out... 0001 isn't very original though is it? :P

So it appears I was suffering from a slight form of dyslexia when I read my dead space CE #. Originally I said I had 4985 and another one in the 49XX range that i'd forgotten. However both were untrue :(.

Mine are actually numbered 4608 and 4958.

Does anyone else have a warped lid on their box? Hard to explain, but I noticed on mine, when I open it the lid doesn't look straight, it slants to either side like it is warped. I'm not sure if the id is warped, or when they put the thing together it has caused it to distort from the hinges. When I close the lid it sits perfectly straight though. I can take pics if this doesn't make sense lol.

Yeah dude, sits straight when the lid is closed. Wasn't sure if others had this or if mine was defected.

Also noticed the actual body of the box, where the sheet metal joins there is a bit of a crease, but I think that's from the joining of the metal at that section.

Yes, unfortunately I had the same problem (slight one though). It wasn't too much, but I noticed it as well. I carefully glued it back and it's pretty much ok now.
