I did call them, UPS were no help at all. They said the packages were on their way to be delivered. TheN ubisoft & ubiworkshop (senders) have asked for the packages to be intercepted. They cant divulge any information due to their confidentiality agreement with Ubisoft.

I phoned ubistore and they were absolutely clueless. All in all i wont get it in time for release date. Who knows if i will get them this week:banghead:

If your depot is that close just go there and take it. It's yours, you paid for it.

Mine arrived today about an hour ago. I did get the correct version, the game case is in English and French.

Yeah, I called UPS as soon as I saw the tracking update. I asked if I could pick it up, and they said no as it's a request from the sender. They told me to contact the sender and see what is happening.

Well there are new pages with new printed carte blanches inside... Did ubi state that there were separate lithos in separate packaging like the first encyclopedia?

Well a carte Blanche is printed on a special type of paper so are the new carte blanches that appear inside the book on the same paper as the rest of the book or special paper/card more like the originals
And are the pages double sided or single sided
I know I'll fond all this out tomorrow when the ups guy redelivers my copy

They're just additional pages at the end of the book, just like any other page. They have a mix of the original 'prints' and new ones.

The ups man arrived today and he didn't have change and didn't take cards and I died want to give him extra
Seems like ubi are forcing ups to check that all copies have the correct 360/ps3 version in and that's why there's a hold on most

Mine here in Greece was intercepted. However, I sent immediately mails to ubiworkshop, and said they would look into this.

I didn't get an answer, but my tracking page was updated hours later to

Just rechecked the tracking numbers and they now state after intercept processing

"The receiver did not want the order and refused this delivery. / Returned to shipper"

I payed a total of 26.71 euros. 10.50 euros was for the handling fee called brokerage and the rest is just the standard vat of the a appropriate country. So in my case 19% from around 75 euro is 14.21 euros. Amounting to 26.71 ?

Mine have crease at the red thing where you tie the string. Probably something heavy on top pressed it against the paper causing the damage. Other than that it was perfect

Got mine today, correct version that I ordered (360), pretty damn good only 1 day after local release.

I'd have to agree the outer box is way too thin to hold the book, etc inside. Mine arrived pretty much in good shape. There is only a really tiny dent in the back bottom corner but other than that it's perfect, all things considered.

I'll sell the game as I already have it to recoup some dough. :)

I contacted UbiWorkshop last night to tell them that they'd intercepted the package, and could they contact UPS to just get it shipped directly to me instead of going back to them. They said "yes, it is now processing, don't worry, it will be with you asap"

Phoned UPS this morning as my package is still marked as "Exception" and they told me that they were contacted by UbiWorkshop this morning who told them to continue returning it to sender.

Also they said to me that the value that it's on the package is $120 and not $99 that I paid, that means even more taxes for me (almost 70E without the handling charges :banghead::banghead:).

A lot of problems with this order.. What was so difficult to send out the right platform game? Perhaps they are calling back orders to prevent more wrong shipments? But then what's with the extra value on the package? That's a big nono.. :nono:

I can explain the extra value. Items that aren't marked as gifts (none of their shipments are gift-marked) are charged for the value of the item ($99.99) PLUS shipping. We didn't pay shipping, sure... but THEY obviously did. So we are still subject to those shipping costs :( xx

You could try to contact them and let them know of the issue, they may rectify it by sending you the correct game (only) and also let you keep the incorrect game they sent to you?! I'd just let them know exactly what's happened and they may come to a conclusion in your favour without losing anything?!?

They've made errors in my order once before and they kindly fixed it up plus also sent me a bonus as well! ^_^ It could happen to you too!? :bananayes:

I guess I can't complain too much, received my copy in the office from UPS on release day the 31st and didn't have to pay any taxes, got the right version and only damage was the envelope as pictured, have sent to Ubi to see if they can send a replacement envelope being the fussy collector I am :p went to the midnight launch on the 30th too to pick up my freedom edition here in Aus.
Only thing I really want now is the pewter figures that came as pre order bonus here in Aus but I couldn't buy a third edition of the game... Hoping to buy them from someone :)

unfortunately they use some stupid "API" file from the postage company to calculate the International Postage price. If I were to blame, first I would blame the postage company providing fail file, then if the file have no problem, I will blame the company for using the file wrongly or intentionally charge 5x of normal postage price

The poster set that you just bought indeed use the exact same images as the mini lithos found in the Ubiworkshop edition of the game. They're exactly the same. I'm passing on the poster set. I don't think they're very nice anyway. They don't really display well.

Asked them to explain what's happening, since I've been told sweet F.A only for them to reply and say "we're sending out a replacement as the first one was for the wrong format due to a glitch, it should be with you soon".

I have two on order...

One doesn't exist as the order was partly refunded so they now have it marked refunded and no-one's telling me nothing...

The other was dispatched but the trail has gone cold... I have 6 private detectives out looking for it but nothing yet though they claim to have seen a group of balaclavaed UPS delivery guys lifting UWS editions anywhere they can find them...

i've had bs problems like this with games...my credit card company always came through for me..sometimes with just my word over the phone..and processed an instant refund..so if you charged by card..give them a ring..and see if they can give back your money..if you don't want it anymore..or got lost in transit..or it's banged up from shipping.

Ubisoft are really starting to piss me off. I still havent received either the workshop edition or the freedom edition and my replacements havent even been dispatched yet. The ubistore phone staff are useless, they keep saying they dont know whats going on and the ubiworkshop staff keep sending me a standard generic email . They have sent the same email, word for word three times saying we are working on a 'technical issue'

Awful, awful service, people will probably end up getting the PC versions of AC3 before i get my stuff

Postal service here also has it's moments where all of the following are acceptable methods of package delivery:

- Tossing over fences.
- Leaving on doorstep.
- Leaving with a neighbour (a few streets away :S)
- Leaving in the rubbish bin.
- Hiding in a tree.

etc. And yes, I have experience ALL of the above >.< xx

Pretty much Xmo, or they take it back to your local depot for collection 24 hours later, even then i've seen poor people being told they cant find there parcel...i dread that happening to me especially if its somebody else's stuff.

- Leaving in the rubbish bin.
- Hiding in a tree.

But all of the above are now against royal mail policy
And they had a crack down in my area about 8-12 months ago so it does not happen round these parts anymore

Im glad i have the same mailman most of the time, since i get so many packages he got to know me, even when package was adressed at wrong house number he delivered it to me :)
We also agree on a spot (small basket that can close) to put package when im not at home.

The first time a mailman did something in that basket i didnt know (he didnt put note in my mailbox that he put it there), so i thought package was lost and my mom found it by accident 2 weeks later lol.

Years ago when i had a Littlewoods Catalogue they had a habit of leaving the packages in the front garden, i lived opposite a busy Pub...so i had lots of fun looking around my garden on delivery day (often they were not there, i wonder why)

I guess this counts as "tossing over fence"

So i've had...

- Left in Garden (Front & Back)
- Left under Door Mat (Also on top Yellow Pages Style!!!)
- Left at Neighbours (sometimes ones i hate)
- Left in Garage (Never owned one, but that's what they wrote on the card)

Think that's about as bad as i've had it.

the box they made for it..is barely holding the weight of the contents inside..it is a flimsy box for sure...i see it disentigrating on it's own over a short life span..just becuz it's soo chintzy quality wise.

Although I did get confirmation from them that they will do something to compensate all of us who still haven't received any of our orders :) xx

When I first saw the concept pics of what the package looked like, I really thought that the box would be way too weak to sustain such heavy contents. I'm sure most of us here suspected that damage to the packaging during transit had a high probability!?

So, after the last days radio silence from Ubiworkshop, I had an automatic update on my order. The order number is the same, as it seems they indeed reshipped them today.

My order status updated, with a tracking number as well. It's still in Canada with estimate arrival date next week (20/11). Let's see how this goes...
