If I may say, I've already played Ni No Kuni and it's the best JRPG I've ever played in ages, I think since Dark Cloud 2. For those who can't read or write Japanese, you've already seen how beautiful the visuals are. Well, everything about it is beautiful, and the story was brilliant. <3

I think they take the money (It only freezes the funds for a short period of time) to verify your credit card. After you place your order you can't cancel it.

What do you think of the game?

I'm a JRPG gamer, so I had very high hopes for this game, and it delivered (played the Japanese version already). It's amazing, especially since it hits home (Nostalgia acid trip: It plays like an SNES JRPG or any 16-bit JRPG classic for that matter).

I just hope it sells really well. The game bombed in Japan, and this is a game that deserves every penny. Also, if it sells well and adored by the press then maybe, just maybe it'll spark JRPGs' return to prominence.

is there any other way to buy the wizard edition aside from namco bandai website?
i really want to buy the us wizard edition.

it seems that the uk does not have the same content as us one. isn't it?

Apparently the version on the Namco-Bandai site contains extra content for people who pre-ordered it before the end of August if I remember rightly. I'm not sure what the extra content is though. I believe in the US, that is the only place to get it from.

I'm not saying that at all, but when pre-orders closed and there was no indication of them being open again for that edition, you would expect a price hike. I'm not trying to justify what that seller did, because I think it's disgusting that he ordered so many and put so much on top of the RRP. It looks like he was originally selling at $40 over RRP, which I don't think is too bad if you missed the original pre-order deadline, but as demand gets higher, the prices that people will be prepared to pay increases too. In all fairness though, nobody knew what the extra content was at Club Namco until recently anyway. As far as everbody was concerned, it was the same as what was available everywhere else.

In my opinion though, it's the idiots that pay these stupid prices that give the scalpers the motivation to buy up all the stock in the first place. If people were to just boycott listings like this, then the sellers wouldn't be able to afford to purchase such massive quantities in the first place.

Lol the mass effect CE was awesome, I bought the US edition a couple of months before the release date, but then an european member from another forum got one, posted a pic, and it came with a steelbook inside (the US ver had a metalpak). I remember everyone going crazy (me included), selling out everywhere, shopto saying "Guys this is very limited, tomorrow 10am UK time we are going to put some extra stock up for sale!!!". The new stock came out of nowhere. :rotf:

Only reason I want the US one is for that coin. Never knew it was a sizeable thing and didn't expect much of the art cards either. Now that I have seen it clearly, I want it.

Also, shopto still has the EU Wizard Edition for pre-order, so either namco are tweeting for just PR, or shopto is wrong.

I reckon once these are gone, they're gone.

I think the majority of ebay scalpers missed out on this one as they underestimated it, so the market won't be flooded like N7 was. Before GAME lost it, N7 Ed was sold out and there were very few copies on ebay. It was only when everything went to shit that the ebay scalpers saw to cash in! >.<
