Yeah on he front of the box it says "Mystery Minis" in the circle (bottom center).

They are cool, much better then the Pop! big head ones (I like a few of these but dislike the overall style of them due to the head being way to big). These figures are like the cute but deadly ones from Blizzard that i really like (posting that video next week).

Just opened the Batman Arkham Knight DC Statue (unboxing will go up in about 6 days or so)... it is actually REALLY nice for $100. It is porcelain so it feels really good and high quality (plastic always feel cheap to me no matter how nice it is sculpted).

Yeah it is nice, it is very similar to the France Exclusive resin mask. This press one is also resin but feels more like a prototype and is slightly more rough and for some reason slightly glossy. The France one is a better mask as it is smoother and looks and feels more like bone. But I like the Press Version's base better and it is far rarer (and the box is really nice too).

I got it from a contact/friend who messaged me recently about it. Pretty cool it for sure, I am interested to see what it will go for considering how much rarer it is then the regular versions.

Very neat!! Looks great too!! It seems its very easy for you to place the vinyl into the frame! Only downside is if the vinyl have art that you like on both sides, does that mean you will need to buy 2 and frame them both on different side?

(Sadly the seller of this shipped this in a tube that was much longer then the poster and he also pit a Death pin in there... you can see where this is going. It got damaged and the seller even blamed me saying "it looks like it is damage from taking it out of the tube" even though in the pics i sent both ends are mashed and in one pic I set the pin next to the rolled up dented end and you can see how the pin fit right in the dent. :facepalm: )

Thanks. Na I always knew I would pass on Project Triforces's HUGE statue and scythe replica. Too much for me and especially the scythe it would be almost impossible to display and keep safe.


I haven't really researched this so I don't know why you don't like it but it doesn't look bad from your pics. The only glaring thing I can see is the USB that sticks out like a sore thumb at the bottom. Of course, this makes me wonder about what kind of material they made this out of, probably PVC, semi-polystone?


Here are the main issues. The detail is crap, the paint is also crap, you can see the whole section of where the horse head was glued on and it does not even come close to blending. The orange paint on the base looks like it was just drizzled and splattered on and looks awful (plus I think anytime they try to make a "glowing" effect with orange paint it looks just awful). Another small thing is Ruin's right rear leg seems misshapen to me (though this may just be a personal thing as my family has Clydesdale horses and it just looks wrong... or how the in game model looked when in the position).

There is more but you get the idea. I can take pics of these things if you want so you can really see what i mean. For example the last one they made (Samael) was really good (even the Death SOTA one looks a good leap better then this... actually the recent cheap Death one from Gaya has better detail)... but this War & Ruin was their first attempt and it looks like it.

It is made of a plastic type resin (think AC statues), different hardnesses too (for the cape and chains it is all softer to avoid breaking but both the ones i own were bought broken in those ares anyways).

For example the last one they made (Samael) was really good (even the Death SOTA one looks a good leap better then this... actually the recent cheap Death one from Gaya has better detail)... but this War & Ruin was their first attempt and it looks like it.

It is made of a plastic type resin (think AC statues), different hardnesses too (for the cape and chains it is all softer to avoid breaking but both the ones i own were bought broken in those ares anyways).

I tried searching for a video of the statue and either couldn't find it or you haven't made one yet. If so, maybe make a video? ;)

It is not a crack, it is actually just where it was put together... it was just not well done.

Gary said they were only delayed (even though everyone was saying they were cancelled... I think that came from the fact they refunded and cancelled orders at the time). But things may have changed but I know he had said they were only delayed.

Yeah Barren mentioned that to me... I am stoked! I can finally let my PS3 go now :D Really that was the remaster I wanted, but lucky me I get both of the games from my favorite franchise remastered for this gen (so did you for Uncharted and TLOU so that is pretty awesome). I am pretty surprised though. Hopefully it is one last push before announcing they are officially working on Darksiders III.

I did not even know this existed (though I hoped something like it did but never had seen one in any shape or form until now). Sadly whoever owned them deleted the assets... BUT I had recovery software and the good news is I got the assets back from one of them!! I was so excited! Now I have the USB Card and I recovered 90%-100% of the digital assets.

Yeah sucks that someone would delete the assets... but I am just happy I recovered most if not all of them (the USB card is 1GB and I recovered 700+mbs and all files had their names except the artwork pics, which just have a generic file name, so most likely that is all there way as that is almost full).

Got a new big one! Such a great deal at only $200 shipped (it was $600 + shipping retail)!! Mine arrived broken in a few spots but I got a very small partial refund and fixed/glued it (all the spots were small and fairly easily fixed).

One thing I noticed is... Dust (the crow) is WAY oversized compared to Death. I suppose you could just say it is a forced perspective and Dust is closer thus bigger. Overall it is a decent statue... but not excellent (paint is not the best in some spots but not terrible). Definitely worth the money becasue of its size and sculpt on Death though. So now here it is:

Size comparison.

The Death & Dust Statue by Triforce is stands 29" tall (not 32" like the official specs claim) and the 10" Statue by Gaya. It really drives home the size difference (also this should blow your minds... the 10" cost $80-$100 compared to $200 only for the 29" one).

It is just so cool, I actually like it better then the worldwide numbered press kits. Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe Press Kit:

Love this kit and even though I do not like fighting games too much I really enjoyed this one (right place right time I think). The kit has a lot more then I thought at first. Even the inner part that opens up has a semi-hidden booklet that is part of the background (Sub Zero's Mask and Batman's face) and a mini standee in a sleeve as well (just a lot of cool stuff in this one).

Ninja Blade Press Kit:

This has to be the only From Software game that I liked playing. Honestly did not even remember it was by them until I saw it on the kit (it is quite different from their current slow punishing style, it was more of an over the top action game with fast hack and slash combat akin to Ninja Gaiden as well as some crazy quick time events similar to Asura's Wrath). Seems From is going back to this in a way with their new game (almost like Ninja Blade combined with Dark Souls). Anyways this kit is pretty simple... but still a nice kit.

New update! This is a BIG one (pun intended)! I finally got the HOLY GRAIL of Darksiders collectibles. The ultra rare developer/contest only 1/4th scale War statue!! Only 13 were made and one was destroyed early so only 12 technically (info from THQ Marketing Director who oversaw them, wish I had asked them what studio made them). A few were given out during various contests (will attach any images that I have of that) and the rest were spread among the executives and studios. This is by far the best condition one I have seen of the 3 that have been for sale this past decade and I got lucky that is came along right when I was out of debt and had the money to buy it.

Well to be fair the War statue was never for sale. F4F is making one but it is a good deal smaller then this one.

Yeah took me a long time to get all the different sets of the limited edition KoA tarot cards. As for the fan I got lucky awhile back, have not seen another since though so must be pretty darn rare (I love it most due to how it looks amazing displayed).

Got some new Darksiders promo merch! Not much left to find but still finding the odd new items now and then that I never knew about.

First is a set of booklets from the Darksiders II Hands on Press Preview at an event. Also I realized there are 4 versions of mini booklets out there. There is the "Hand Book" and the "Game Booklet" that goes with the hands on event strategy guide. Then there is also two other "Game Booklets", one is the launch/manager's kit version and the other is the German press version (the press and launch version are mostly the same except the press version has a bit more content and the have different dates on the back... or more accurately one has an exact date while the other is just the month).

Yeah the old THQ was promo item crazy and I love them for it. The new THQ Nordic doesn't really make much.

Well usually if the person who is selling it has other press items that is usually enough for me. Luckily Darksiders is not big enough for people to sell fakes.

Here is the new plexiglass box I got custom made for my ultra rare War statue. This was a terrible process as they never got the base right, but luckily I was able to correct one of the FOUR replacements using a table saw (yeah, they sent me 4 replacements and didn't get a single one right and the routing of the lip was atrocious and looked as if they were doing the routing level by freehand). Also here are the rare Darksiders posters I framed with dual matting, as well as framing of the lenticular poster from the Revengeance items. Below that are a couple new cases I got got my controller, the DSII Press Marble Tombstone, and my DSIII Chaos Potion Gamescom Drink.

Finally found two of the last few items I was looking for, the Darksiders 1 Keychain and the Darksiders II Press USB, and I even found one I didn't know existed which was a Australian version of the pre-order book (this one is a stapled spine unlike the North American ones which are a glued squared off spine... this is the 4th variant I have found over the years).
