Cheesy?! I think they made really good use of the LEDs. You have to turn off the lights to really make it stand out. It sure looks like it's really on fire. For Death's horse, Despair, it looks like it's covered with smoke. Really like it! :D

But sure, a 12 inch statue of just War or Death will be cool as well. Even better, a huge statue of War in his Chaos form like this..

@Tony: I actually keep finding new ones! There are about three that are so rare I couldn't afford to get them.
I have found a lot of rare posters I hope to get soon as well.

@Veron: Yeah that would be cool, but I would rather have just regular War... he looks awesome.

@Kusu: Darksiders 2 is good, but the first one was way better in my opinion. Mostly the story is way better and War is a better character. Also the loot system is neat but it just felt like it was there just to be there.

Thanks, the map is pretty cool... Skyrim should have done a cloth one instead of the crap paper one. There actually is one that just went up on eBay but the guy wants too much for the stuff (although it is all BRAND NEW strait from the pre-order box).

As far as the sword goes it was made fully of resin and because of its odd shape (unlike a statue that has a built in stand) it would have been impossible to make a stand that would keep it from warping even more then it was. If you rest it on its side it will warp the whole blade, if you rest it on its tip the tip will bend, if you rest it on its hilt the hilt will bend... it is a no win with it unless you have a custom molded stand/case made for it which i had not the time or money for.

I know it was very rare, only 60 were made and most defiantly less then that have survived this long but I just didn't want to deal with it.

Plus I finally got a hold of the Press Kit and needed the cash to offset that purchase.

They are hard to find, and even harder to find one that someone isn't trying to inflate the price on.

Don't bother with the one on eBay, I just looked again and he was asking $80 around the holidays which was already too much (and I told him it was and he said he was purposely price gouging) and now he is super price gouging at like $120 or more so ignore that one.

I would say if you find one for around $50 or less then grab it.

If I see one I will let you know.

Updated my collection picture.

Updated the Darksiders Press kit pictures to my actual copy, also took pictures of the inside pages for people to see. (I just noticed how grainy they are and you would have to link to the original just to read the small print so i will take better photos soon, I took these quickly and in bad conditions)

I also added a picture of something I just acquired, a Darksiders Promo Post Card from Japan. This just arrived and is in prefect shape.

A contact/friend of mine found the PS3 Promo Disc of Darksiders for me, I'm pretty excited. I do wish it had some cover art like some promos have but it may not have had that to begin with.

I would like to find the PS3 Press Kit at some point but there are others even on this site looking for one as well (so even if I did I would most likely have a good fight on my hands). I am still looking for the Mini Standee Poster and PAX promo card, also any other promos I may have not heard of yet. There are a few really rare items I don't think I will ever find, and if I did they would be out of my price range... even though most people don;t know they exist.

Oh my, what an update! You're the first person that I know of that's had the 15 year anniversary litho framed. It looks great.

The Bucking Bronco Vigor poster is awesome as well. Folks are sleeping on that one big time. People are gonna regret passing on it once it sells out.

I had the frame lying around with an old photo in it so i tried it and it was a perfect fit!

The Bucking Bronco one is Awesome and I can't believe it hasn't sold out yet (of the Fink Theater which is nicer IMO... I like it better because of its size). I think the size of the BB poster puts them off, it did for me but I liked the image enough (and the price) to get it... but I have no where to put it, as you see in the pic it just sits in its box until I figure something out.

Yes the GoW 3 Kit is super SEXY!! My second fav (after my Darksiders "The Book of War" of coarse... but it is close).

There was a full kit for sale on the forum... pretty good deal too (140 euro, about what I bought mine for and I bought mine as a Bundle of the Promos above and the inFAMOUS kit).

It can all be found on eBay (US side)... BUT mostly they want ridiculous prices for them.

I got my Litho and pins from my local GameStop manager and the Bag I got off eBay for $12 shipped which was a steal IMO... seeing how they are going for well over $20 now (I got lucky, only one other person was bidding at the end).

I just had 2 pins and a sticker up for sale but they sold last night, (I had bought a set then got 2 of the pis for free and another sticker for free so I sold one sticker and the 2 extra pins).

Thanks Swift! I was hunting for awhile and before I knew it has amassed a pretty good collection of Infinite items... then when i got the Songbird Edition it was really big (about on par with my Darksiders stuff).

But the Infinite Press kit will put it over the top IMO! I wish I could get the Infinite Press kit signed by Ken some day, imagine how awesome of an item it would be then!

Funny thing is I found it about 20 mins after it was lited by doing my normal daily searches on eBay (Bioshock "rare" "promo" ect...).

I Messaged the seller and held my breath the whole wait for her to get back to me (honestly... because I was worried someone from the forum would catch a wiff of the sale!!!), but the seller got right back to me and accepted my offer.

It was nice of the seller was nice to sell it outright to me.

It defiantly was not an auction I would put in the "Found Deals" section! :1:

I got it for free... you haven't seen the thread? I got unbelievably lucky and met a gaming journalist through my eBay account.

That accursed book is tiny BTW, and far less rare then once thought. I would guess a few hundred of them instead of the 50 or so we thought.

Just look at the envelop to the right of it, it is bigger! The envelope and coasters were not know of before I got them (at least unknown to me)... the envelope is not the one the book comes in (I didn't get the book's envelope but it was free so I am not complaining).

Got my Infinte PK today!!

One issue I found out awhile after i bought is it is missing the cloth picture of Comstock... while this is disappointing, considering what I paid for it I can easily overlook it (basically I got this for $200-$500 lees then it would sell for). Also the emblem on mine had much more done to it to be "old fashioned" looking.

Simply incredible! Great attention to detail too. The color of shelves compliment the collection. And I like how you placed the soundtrack on a white, tiled floor... brings back all the memories of to the Medical Pavilion.

Thanks... saw these a long while back but I am more into D1 then 2 and didn't really want to get into collecting D2 stuff.

But I saw this and just wanted to get it (and it was bought before I really started getting my Infinite items so i had the money). It is very nice, the envelope is awesome looking and the litho is nice and thick (not caring much for the off white color but it is still nice).

Hmmm... I am not sure about the type of paper. The envelope is just regular envelop paper that you would expect from a big envelope but the litho is a nice thick gauge textured paper.

I will get it out later to measure it. If I had to guess I would say it is about the same size as the 15th anniversary Irrational Litho I have which is 11x14 (it may be a little bigger then this though).

Here is the new Press Kit for Infinite I just got! It is official and is from Take-Two Interactive Germany (for anyone who does not know Take-Two owns 2K and Irrational Games).

It is complete and everything inside is sealed (unfortunately I bought another sealed 360 Promo Disc to sell and it seems to have fallen through and now i have to tell the buyer i sold it to because I can't use this one in place of it... anyways):

I didn't get it direct my friend. That label is the original one that was for shipping it to the original journalist.

Then he sold it to me ;)

Funny thing is I have not seen this particular kit anywhere else yet. I figure this one must be common... yet have not seen another, ;et alone a complete and sealed one.

The items inside seem fairly common but not the kit itself.

Yes it is... it is still on the back of the box (the box cardboard box that holds the items is the same box they used to originally ship it to the journalist). It is like having a Certificate of Authenticity stuck right on the back!

Here is what arrived today, the Bioshock Infinite Art book (which is the second one i got from Amazon as the first had badly damaged corners), a Bioshock sticker (so now i have both versions of the logo sticker), and a Mini Bioshock Infinite Logo Tattoo (never seen one before so I snagged it).

Okay, I moved all my stuff around again and ended up making my old locker from when I was younger my new Darksiders only locker and the big cabinet is now only for Bioshock stuff (the space on the bottom shelf is for the Infinite Promo Disc (I superimposed it though) that is on its way, and the keychain needs to go somewhere too (almost forgot)).

The black one on top actually isn't really a book. It is the Darksiders 1 Press Kit, it opens up to a couple pages but after that it is hollow with the Promo Disc inside (see OP for pics).

The brown one is a rare Art Book that was only given to people who pre-ordered the PC Hellbook Edition from the THQ/Vigil Darksiders website only (also came with a pin, shirt, and cloth map). The book it is on top of is the GameStop pre-order Comic and Art Book.

The other one in the very bottom that you can barely see is the "Art of Darksiders" by UDON and is signed by Joe Mad, I also have the Hellbook Edition down there which also has a small Art Book, some cool Art Cards, and a cool hollow Hellbook Case.

It is a very sturdy and well made standee, I was surprised at its quality. It actually has padded feet on it.

I just measured it, it is roughly 16.25" (or 41.5cm) tall and roughly 8.5" (or 21.5cm) wide at the base. So it is not a huge floor standee, it is a table top standee... which for me is the only one I would like to have, just like I hate huge lithos/posters I hate big standees (no room and they are bulky).

I almost asked the person if I could just buy the standee but I know I can get my money back on the rest of the items not or I could wait until the end of the year and probably turn a profit.

Yeah thought long and hard about it and tried to size it up in the pics and decided it was a really good size. I will not make a habit of it, the only other standee I know of that i want is smaller then this one (the Darksiders Standee in the OP at the bottom).

Just got some new items the last few days... will post pics later tonight!

I got the GoW 1&2 PKs(Retailer Kits) and I also found out what the Bioshock Infinite Envelope was for and I got the letter that was originally sent inside of it (well most of the letter anyhow). This means I will soon have all GoW PKs and I already have all GoW Promo Discs (I already have deals struck for the PSP PKs and should be finalizing them within a couple weeks).

Okay first thing first the envelope and letter. I found out from my gracious source that the envelope was for an embargo letter and he had found the letter and sent it to me (the letter is missing the bottom part which had the contact info for Take Two/Irrational/2K Games on it).

Yeah the letter is something I hold to be very special. Something that we collectors rarely get a hold of (partly becasue the people who get them don't see them as worth anything I would assume). I have thanked my contact over and over for it (and the neat coasters as well), I am sure he thinks it is strange that I like the "odd" items so much... lol.

One thing I forgot to mention about the GoW1 kit is it is HUGE (very thick)... and the Promo Reel disc, Demo, and the Memo Pad are all new and sealed (and the box is in almost perfect condition). Unfortunately the GoW2 box has a couple slight creases (but they are not full creases, just indents on one side).

The WATCH_DOGS one is fairly easy to find... there are 2 or 3 boxes with the letter (and cel/cels) on eBay right now but they are more then the ones i bought so you might want to wait for a good deal to come around.

Yeah I have never seen a Dishonored PK for sale either. I have only ever seen one other one and Mortal has it. Unlike mine his is complete (mine is missing the box... although I am not worried about it, if I had to be missing something that would be it). I may be missing the mask and shirt too but I am not convinced those came with it to begin with (I will check with the person who I got mine from), but even if they did those 2 items are easily bought if I felt I needed them.

Actually I am continually running out of space. I had to bring in new tables and cabinets over the past few months. I recently had to clean out some of my drawers that were for other things to use them for my collection.

Thanks, yeah it seems to be one of the rarest if not the rarest. The only thing that comes to mind are a couple prototype calendars that were never mass produced but I don't really consider those.

Thanks! I think it is the rarest from memory (but there may be things I still do not know of). Most of the other rare items like the consoles are in groups of 10... those are technically rarer then the 2-foot War statues but the War statues are far cooler.

No I do not have those statues... never like the SOTA ones that much for some reason (I feel the LED's are cheesy and it does not focus enough on War). I wanted a War only statue like the Tri-Force Death (like the War one that there are one 12 of). From the specs the Tri-Force one seems to be about the size of the War statue... while I really like the Tri-Force statue the price to me is too much. That is about what I paid for the guitar which is far more rare and valuable IMO. If I ever find a Tri-Force Death statue for a couple hundred I would buy it but that will probably never happen, heck I would probably buy a SOTA one if I happen to catch one super cheap. I feel a lot of statues are over priced now-a-days.

The Dragons Crown Art Book has 64 pages I believe. The BF3 grenade is just for show.

Yeah the Premium Edition Mask is way better... I do not own the other but I have seen and held one.

1,000 made is high for a press kit worldwide? You were the one who pointed out that a lot of kits are 7,000-10,000 made (well Sony kits anyways).

It is over twice as rare as the The Last of Us PK (assuming the 2,500 did cover all versions) and far more extravagant.

Yeah it will be something sought after i am sure, puts the other Batman PKs to shame.

It is a Batarang Display piece with stand and it has a LCD screen on it that play a game trailer.

Also it is a USB storage device as well, containing the PK data on it (screenshots and game info). And the box is just awesome by itself.

The Arkham Origins kit is pretty amazing, just really nice quality all around. I was very happy to get the original shipping box as well (even though the shipping box is beat up and taped on some).... and the Press Disc.

Yeah I have gotten more Killzone Mercenary items then I thought would be out there... I cannot wait for the LED Counter Standee. I will take a pic of all of the items for Mercenary together when I get it.

No I did not know that, mostly becasue I do not own a 360 anymore. But I liked the cards and coin and they were super cheap.

But luckily i contacted the seller and got another LED setup so I should have a full working one in the next few days. Thanks, I had seen that a long while back when the game launched... it is amazing how log it takes them to release some things. Plus it is way out of my price range for how rare it is. I wish they would make a War only one like it... I might buy that.

I bought mine for 15 Euro shipped.
If I'm not mistaken, this same black flag will be a pre order bonus. so might reduce the price sometime.

Well not litho style or anything like that. There is not then on most Press USBs I have seen though.

There is artwork of the stage with quite a few variations and different characters.

There is also a lot of really awesome renders of each character.

Well I finally got the LED replacements for my Killzone Mercenary Standee. I also cut out new holes on the inside to hold the LEDs (they are now more towards the center of where the lights comes from on the image instead of center of the eye cut out holes).

Here is it with my whole Killzone Mercenary collection (special thanks to Merch (for the lanyard and the pamphlet) and doronf1 (for the deck of cards) for helping me get these items!):

Yeah not on purpose (oh and the GTA one is actually a friends, kind of mine but we are selling it together so to speak - EDIT: Got 2 sets now ;) ), I had the same style keychain for GoW as the Soul Sacrifice one. It was Kratos's blade but it was in the same style promo box. But this is the only real promo item I have found so far for Soul Sacrifice. The only other was a chocolate thing given to the press (been trying to find one):

great new stuff flatout! the coins looking really awesome, are these made of real metal? the Press USB from the Puppeteer is also very nice, i love that game! where did you get that, cuz the print "Der Puppenspieler" is in german.
i think this mech figure could be from the game "Iron Brigade/Trenched"...

Yeah the coins and holder are really neat, I have never seen another one too. Yes the coins are metal, they are like most of those thick aluminum type coins they use for these type things.

Yeah the Puppeteer USB is pretty neat as well, it is a little scratched up but it has some really nice artwork and character renders in it. I got it from an auction on eBay and the seller was in that area.

That was the XBLA game I was thinking about I believe. It is either Trenched or Gatling Gears. Probably Trenched as you said though... hard to say as there are not identifying marks on it, but I like the figure. EDIT: Could be from "Hawken: Cockpit" as well.

Also I actually forgot to say i was also keeping the Darksiders 2 Launch Pin but I already had one from before so I did not post it.

Yeah I think it is unique. The origins kits is neat as well, have not seen another of those for sale yet. I did not get the CE to keep... really the PK has a lot of the same paperwork anyways (well similar, it is actually slightly different which is a good thing... probably higher quality paper in the PK). But the CE is an amazing value, no doubt there.

Lol... I was thinking of longevity of the chocolate. The coins and other stuff inside the chest should be fine for quite a long while but the bar might get whitish after a few more years.

Funny thin is the chocolate bar seems to have actual gold flake in it... looks like the chocolate bar version of Goldschlager.

Oh, sorry i forgot about those.

The decks I got from a seller on eBay... Coma got a set too. The faux wooden box is just something the seller made to ship the card decks in. I think it is made from the out box of the EU CE. Looks neat for something he cut, bent, and taped together though... but it was more for shipping protection I think.

Yes it was from the GameStop website. I ordered it about 2 days or so after the announcement.

Download a patch for Killzone now... also have Warframe, Resogun, and Contrast downloading as well. Going to be a fun next few days!

You didn't get overnight delivery (GameStop calls it "One Day")?

GameStop does a great job with keeping shipping prices down with One Day. I think for the whole bundle it was $21 shipped for overnight. That is really good for a huge bundle (and it shipped 3 separate times, once for each item when they became available).

CEs ship pretty cheap that way as well at anywhere from $7 to $13 depending on what you get and how many.

But I am sure your fine, they would put your order on hold if there was not enough stock i would think.

The case is actually the nicest part. I sold the one I got becasue I realized I could not really afford to keep it. But I got it the other day and before shipping back out i wanted to share it with everyone here. The spyglass itself is kind of scratched and tarnished slightly but it kind of gives it a "used" look which makes sense but I do not think it is on purpose.

The top plague is actually metal, and the inserts in the corners of the box are actually brass (from other images I thought they were just light colored wood and I thought the plague looked plastic).

They go for around $150 on eBay right now, I guess the come in or with the Cosair Edition.
