I somehow knew I should've kept the original prints I had...

I got the replacements & there are a couple of horrible creases on each print! FFS, how can they get this so wrong, again!

This is totally unacceptable & I will be getting a refund. I don't even want the bloody things now.

I think I've completely had it with artwork now, this has really put a sour taste in my mouth.

I use to receive a lot of products from this the direct web site for a game company and everything I got something (paying high shipping costs) the "special" boxes came dented, or crushed because they got sent in bags or stickers stuck right to the outer packaging which was part of the design. Needless to say I only order from them now if I can't find it anywhere else.

They were from the official Sony gear store, I got a good friend to forward them for me as they don't ship overseas.

I finally got a full refund this morning, not without having to hassle them. Their after sales service is a bit shit tbh, both times took them nearly a week to respond.

Now-a-days, I message my ebay sellers and request boxed shipping. I sometimes get blow-back, but most of the time they are good about doing it. I even had one seller return to the post office just to repackage it.

I'm terrible I message and interrogate them about their packaging to the nth degree if they haven't put any packing info in their spiel. Through due determination and diligence I have not had a poorly packaged or damaged item via an ebay seller. Some obviously better than others and maybe a couple close to call but...

Boxed shipping you say

Mhmm interesting...

My thing is - if you're not going to ship in a box, why bother listing the condition of the box? It's going to get wrecked anyway.

GAME is probably the worst supplier in the UK, it kind of sucks that they get these exclusive deals. Otherwise I normally try to buy elsewhere.

Out of curiosity did you guys in the US pay the base price? i.e. the same price the people in the UK pay? if you guys did the you probably got shafted again! Technically as you guys are outside the EU, you should not be subjected to VAT so should have a 20% discount from the price we pay - if they didn't do the 20% adjustment they probably kept the money for themselves and declared the transaction on their VAT return as an export so not liable to pay the taxman the 20% of your sale.

Amazon is probably the only one I know of that does this properly if you order from Amazon UK.

I rarely use GAME now, unless I absolutely have to. Their packaging has totally gone to shit since they nearly went broke. We used to have GAME here in Australia & their postage was awesome, everything came boxed with bubblewrap. Unfortunately they've been shut down over here.

It is true though that VAT does not get removed from their orders, Zavvi are the same. You are correct that Amazon remove the VAT and they rightfully should too.
