It won't be up on other stores as its exclusive to the Tomb Raider gear shop and the Square Enix online store.

It's also at the European Square Enix online store.

12 inch statue is a decent size. Gonna be quite a big CE then... Might just stick it with the steelbook... Will have to see. Lol

Darn, the more I look at this the more I'm really sad that I just spent that much on the so-called "dev only journal" -- it looks identical. And as has been mentioned already, the necklace came with the CE guide from the last game.

They're both really great CE items that I would've been thrilled to get had I not already acquired both of them (and one at a significant price comparatively).

Will definitely still be getting this day one, just sad there weren't more unique items in it.

Just curious.. how much did you actually pay for it since you initially thought it would be a rare item?

Missed the ~$60 auction that ended recently due to stupidity on my part. Was already in contact with the seller though (who is an awesome guy and somewhat in the industry btw) and he went the extra mile to reach out to a colleague of his who also got one in the same manner. Anyway, I paid nearly twice the ebay auction for his colleague's copy as I had some extra $ and he jumped through a lot of hoops to get me it (and we skipped ebay at which point I was sure someone else would snatch it up again though he was going to list it for the relative price).

And yes you're right. I would have never paid that much had I known it was getting an almost identical version released in the CE that I was already paying for, but a deal is a deal and I'm glad to at least know I helped out a fellow collector financially and also have a great contact or two out of it.

I'm still hoping that perhaps there'll be some distinguishable mark inside the CE one or the copyright on the back of the dev one is different. It clearly won't be worth a TON to the average collector, but I'll be happy knowing it was originally 1 of only 400! Also, I can get it signed I guess at a later date and feel even better about that!

For the Collector's Edition I was honestly expecting the Play Arts Kai figure that was shown at this year's San Diego Comic Con. This is not what I was expecting.

As it is, I don't understand the inclusion of the necklace. It was released as a bonus to the Tomb Raider Limited Edition Strategy Guide (as observed by Isauretjuh), which is still available on Amazon U.S.

I most likely would have enjoyed the statue more if the flare was lit. Without a flame it looks strange.
