Prime 1 shipping prices are not that high because they like to suck money out of their customers. It's nothing they have a big say in at the moment. That's why they try to get warehouses in the US and EU, while trying to offer cheaper shipping methods at the same time. (like economy shipping for the US)

And when it comes to taxes and customs, these are getting charged by ones own country and have nothing to do with the manufacturer.

I really do hope we see more and cheaper ways to get ours hands on P1s. Especially the poor australian peps suffer hard.
