My only hope is that they open a warehouse in Europe

And at least let sideshow and retailers get some for sale. Buying direct from P1 was the most expensive option for me, but now it looks like it's the only option.
I really want this GOW diorama but it will be too expensive from P1 direct. I am not buying from them with those crazy shipping costs, on top of the expensive statue, plus all the custom fees, that is all.

Man things like this that hurt the consumer that make no sense really piss me off. It's like... why? Hope you find a better option... sucks that your only option is the most expensive. I like the statues too but I know they are far out of my league in terms of cost.

Now let's be clear, I'm not saying the shipping is anywhere near fair, because it's not. I've shipped an entire seat of a car US-->Netherlands which is much heavier than any statue and it was less than $100 with tracking. Last edited by defiler; 05-22-2019 at 01:35 AM. |

EDIT: I suppose it could be they all contract a warehouse together and share the warehouse burden and that warehouse then ships for them... but I have nothing to indicate this and I imagine this would have its own issues of who is responsible if something goes wrong (doesn't seem viable but who knows).

1. Prime 1 allocates a certain amount of their stock to a Distributor 2. Distributor pics it up from Chinese factory 3. Retailer orders from Distributor 4. Distributor bundles up various orders from Retailers in the same region and ships them via ship. 5. Retailer receives them and sends it out to their customers. (There may be exceptions, but I think this is the most common situation) I'm not aware on how much customs and taxes a retailer has to pay when they receive their shipment, but it's probably way lower than what normal dudes like us pay. |
