I'm with Santander and I have no idea how they work. If you have an overdraft, you're charged ?1 per day that you are overdrawn with my type of account I think, but if you don't have an overdraft, then I assume a bigger charge, which is my worry, as I can't afford this preorder, never mind charges xx

EDIT: Also, somehow my bank have NEVER rejected a payment for me, even if I have no money in my account :/ And if they do reject a payment, you get charged for it xx

Ahh ok so not exactly desired

In the US my bank has something like 18 USD + 36 USD charges per day of overdraft

That adds up fast

Been meaning to opt out of the overdraft "protection" but they don't make it easy

Brits are so damn lucky with 1 GBP a day

Damn, what a con!! 0.0

I thought I was being had.

My bank used to only charge an interest rate and as I only have a 100GBP overdraft, the interest payment on there was incredibly low. Usually only a few pence per month, but a few years ago they started charging on a daily basis.

Wow that's not bad all things considered

Acts like a loan i guess

Fairly certain if you did that over here your interest would be approaching infinite
