I guess it will always be true,some people dont exactly know what they have or what its worth. To some its just another old piece of junk or even that its just the same as everything else not realizing its special,different or rare

The other one would be the Batman Arkham City console, the employee one maybe if I can find one cheap, which I have several times but they are never complete, mostly missing the controller. Much like the original Xbox Launch console. People always be losing the controllers.
