Yeah there is an old thread for the original turret. There were 2 versions of the turret. One which had no functions and another which was supposed to make sounds. The speaker on it was so shitty though that you couldn't hear the sound from it...

Cosmic, the sunbursts are being produced now because they had a lot of the original one to replace, and obviously they use the exact same mould, but the sunburst turrets will include a better sound chip, making them a fair bit louder, so hopefully that means all replacements will, too xx

We can only hope, but I think to keep the peace, the replacements will still have the same old quiet sound module. can you imagine the fuss people will kick up if replacements of the original run wil be louder!? 0.0 Also they told me that they couldn't get a bigger sound module in the space where it was which was clearly a lie...

Yeah, I suppose. I mean, if mine was perfect, apart from the shitty low volume, I'd be pissed if other people were getting better sound in their replacements. Ahh, it's a tough one.

Yeah, the only reason they're bringing out another turret now is because the turret moulds were being used right now anyway (and probably the reason why we're waiting so long on our replacements, despite being told 3 months tops).

I couldn't care less about another turret. I would much rather get a Chell statue, or Atlas and P-Body (but of course since 3A are doing Atlas and P-Body, GH probably can't) or GLaDOS or Wheatley or even a defective turret!

But no... we get another bloody normal turret, albeit with some pretty stripes xx

That's a bit of a shitty reason to create more of the same product though. Especially with the sounds aswell. Kinda makes the original Exclusive version pretty redundant now... >.<

I'm not all that arsed about more figures in the Portal Line tbh. Just hoping that the Dragonborn comes in a better condition than my turret did. lol
