Eh, not counting metalpacks, it only has 2. Even with the metalpack, though, it's only at 3. It's pretty in line with BF3, which had 3 steels, too. I hate it that Killzone 4 has no steel, though. The Killzone steels are always so cool!!

Battlefield 3 had 4 steelbooks with 3 different designs (Futureshop G1, Gamestop Northern Europe G1, Europe Collectors Edition G1+G2) 3xG1 + 1xG2.

I don't count different sizes of the exact same steel as different variants or extra steels. I only count how many different ones. So a game with 4 steels that each have a G1 and a G2 version would only be 4 in my eyes. It's all a matter of semantics, I suppose.

I can confirm 100% that [almost] all G1 metalpaks for sale on ebay are just incorrect information.

I have contacted quite a few and even purchased one, who said it was a G1..until later after he shipped it, he corrected himself and said it was a DVD size.

Also most people write XBOX360/PS(3) only because the G2 metalpak was given regardless of which system you bought BF3 for.

Because there was a lot of confusion -- was there EVER a G2 STEELBOOK released anywhere in the world for this? I know of the G1, but looking for a G2 STEELBOOK (not metalpak)??

There was a G2 steelbook released in Europe. It is plain black with the words battlefield 4 on the front

This is true but I believe zaku counts the CE G1 and G2 as one because the share the same design.
