Ah, very nice! I just got a $50 gift card from Best Buy over a debacle, myself. It's annoying when companies mess up, but it's nice when you get least get some recompense for all the wasted time and frustration.

Technically it is law. When companies mess up and cause any sort of damage to the consumer they are liable. But they know little things will not be taken to court or anything so most of the time you get nothing. Of coarse it is kind of silly to go after small things instead of just letting it go, most of the time is is human error and should be treated as such.
