From a materialistic standpoint? E3 2002, the height of shwag, partly because game publishers still had to print press kits, as opposed to handing us USB sticks these day. Over the event's three days, I ended up with three shopping bags with of stuff including 6-months worth of review copies from Atlus, every available shwag from Working Designs (without needing to participate in the attendee contests), and press bribe Xenosaga merchandise straight from Japan .

I've also attended a lot of review events, and while the annual Call of Duty trip to Palm Springs is nice, I seem to have fonder memories of the 3-day/2-night Crysis 2 review event at the St. Regis in San Francisco. We had our own rooms, each with 3D TVs. According to the hotel website, each room cost EA $500.

Totally forgot about this thread, thank you for answer!
That's sounds fantastic! You've got a lot of treasures, but most important you had a chance to meet many industry legends.
um.. what is your favorite part of all this Expos, conferences. meetings?
a communication with other peoples, or maybe something other?
Do you like to attend on them now, or it's a just a part of job.. maybe after all these years it's all grown into routine for you? How are you feels about that now?

Working Designs.. Xenosaga...Are you willing to share with us some images?
Also do you have anything Silent Hill related? Not physical things, but maybe stories?
I love the series and i love to hear more stories about franchise.
