Seems like really poor quality control on the company who manufactured these. I've already contacted TreeHouse/Bethesda about this issue. I'd be willing to make the repairs myself if they send me the missing screws. This was really disappointing.

I almost broke mine in the same way. Now I open ever so carefully. I agree, those screws are weak.
