Hm, they took my payment for FF X/X-2 HD Remaster 10 days before shipment. But I ordered it a few months ago.

I concur. I have been caught out by Square-Enix Store EU before, being charged on ordering rather than dispatch. Be warned! This is the one primary reason that puts me off ordering directly from them.

I understand that they want exclusive items so that they can maximise their profits without a middle-man retailer, but I think they are hindering themselves. Not only is this edition relatively obscure being only available from one website most people will probably never frequent, but charging upon ordering is something I feel is a major deal-breaker for most collectors. I also think that most collectors are also put off by having to deal directly with a company for the first time, not knowing what their packaging methods are like, or where they ship from.

For all their faults, I would much rather deal with a company like GAME or Amazon. Better the devil you know, so they say...

Ah! I was unaware of this. Last I pre-ordered from them was KH2.5HD.

I stand corrected, sorry guys.

Sweet, this thing looks pretty great!

And also, perhaps even BETTER news, the banner they have on their Twitter account says the following:
"Exclusive to PS4 in 2015!"

Man, I REALLY hope they release this on the XBox1 afterwards! That'd be pretty awesome! But now the question comes down to whether I pre-order this now in hopes they do (in case they don't release the CE later too!). Then again, I could just be grasping at straws here since we haven't seen anything that says so other than this...

100% sure this is exclusive to the PlayStation platforms too, ditto for #2 which was announced recently

reason for that statement from knight because it's an console exclusive, only releasing on PS4 in the west

I am still 50:50 about getting this £85 is a lot and the content available in the CE isn't justifiable in regards to price to me, especially when there is so much DLC digital content =/

Ugh like one piece pirate warriors can see the future DLC content already
