Could you check for embossed lettering in the front? It's almost invisible but easy to find if you're looking for it.

I'm trying to figure out if it's a factory thing or if the retailer (MediaMarkt) decided to deface the box and sell it as new.

Just to be 100% sure - I don't mean the title of the game, I mean a bunch of tiny typewriter lettering written in reverse that among a few numbers and letters says "MetroidBundleBox".

Yours also has this (and you didn't buy it at MediaMarkt)?

You don't need to zoom, you can clearly see if you bring your face towards the screen and look between the two words.

You can see small clear word carvings.

Why would any store "deface" whatever? Even if they did something like that, it would be completely out of ignorance. Your edition is new.
