You should contact your credit card company again and ask for a manager. The first person I talked to said the deposit was too long ago, but after I protested that assertion with a supervisor about the obvious inequity of refusing coverage when I put money down in good faith to a company that 2 years later fails to deliver the product. The supervisor corrected the first agent in that the 6 month window (or whatever it is) doesn't apply to preordered goods. They are currently working on refunding everything I paid to Triforce. Anyway, not sure what answer you will get but thought I'd at least share it and maybe worth it for you to try again on your deposit.

Cheers JC

May not be worth it to you to spend more time on it, but my Bank did it and I think it is certainly fair (what your bank's policy means you can never preorder anything for fear that a failure of the vendor to deliver would leave you exposed by your banks protection window?). Just a thought that you may want to contact your state attorney general or consumer protection agency (like BBB)? Sometimes they can apply additional pressure that might make a difference.

Anyway sorry to hear

JC
