May be you can throw the plastic case out, put the game inside of a steelbook and bump the price for it as a game + steelbook, say $70 for game + steelbook, $35 artbook, $15 t-shirt; $120?

Not sure whether anyone would be interested in a beaten up boxed sealed copy, but would people be interested in the separate items inside if I split them up? It's my understanding that the game inside doesn't actually come sealed, so I wouldn't even be able to sell that as new

My 360 version had the game sealed inside - the ps3 version was not sealed inside

Ok, that is indeed very helpful news. Alas all might not be lost!

Unusual that the PS3 game wasn't sealed inside the box like the X360 one, especially as the retail copy was (which in itself is unusual for Konami to seal a PlayStation branded game...)

you will recoup your money:

£20 book
£20 game
£10 t-shirt
£20 steelbook

I can confirm no PS3 (that I know of) were sealed but all X360 were
