Ahhhh... Fair enough! lol They've updated the page since I ordered mine! XD Game will be sold on then and steelbook kept. Will grab the game for 99p at the end of the summer to fill my steel with! lol

Yeah I pre-ordered when it was £30 though. If you don't want the game, would be wise to trade in or sell on at release as it will most likely be in bargain bins before long. You could always pick it up cheap later on to fill the steel!

Do we think this will be a pre-order only offer? Or available after release as well?

If the former, I may have to pay full price for it, but will most likely sell the game if it's separate and then pick it up for peanuts later on after the olympic hype has died down (as others have said)

No the offer will carry one after launch but that is dependant of stock.

Demand for it is very low, it's not even in the top 100 all format pre-orders.

OK there is 1 months before launch so I would say if in stock Mid June then expect stock to there for a while.

yeah, depends how many steels they produced. If 4000 then they won't last long. Plenty of steelbook collectors around the world. I'm not sure if this item can be shipped abroad or not?? That will play a factor too...

I imagine it will be a short print run as they seem to be the only Stockist, as they where with the Mario and Sonic 2012 Olympics Wii game with the free money tin.

I would guess that they would have a low print run of the SteelBooks as they most likely realise that demand for the game will be low, based on sales of previous olympics video games. I'd imagine they'd meet the 4,000 minimum run, and not overproduce them.

It's a nice SteelBook though, but not nice enough that I would want to pay nearly £40 for an unwanted sports game...
